"Clean and very comfortable bed. However the towels are old and realy outdated . Needs to have bathroom supllies plus no grabage containers. Other then these, it was great room and spent a very comfortable night in this hotel. "

"I recommend doing research before coming here. If you do not have a car, it will be hard for you to travel up to the hotel, if you do not like to walk. The restaurant is not open everyday. The spa was closed when we were there. The view is amazing and it’s quiet. It’s an old style hotel and it has a lot of history. If you are used to 5 star hotels like the Ritz, don’t come here. "

"The location of this hotel is amazing as it overlooks Hallstätter See in the quiet village of Obertraun. The room was very basic but clean and comfortable enough. It is on the expensive side for what you get but you are paying for location and this is why you would stay here. Instructions for self check-in were very clear and well received well in advance. Staff were friendly too. "
