Everything was great wonderful hotel great breakfast

Super welcome, fantastic 'Tower Room'. There is only one such room and it has panoramic views of Salzburg and environs. Breakfast, service, friendliness all first rate. A small hike out of town, but well worth it!

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Very polite staff. Super cool spa with saunas and pool. Breakfast was extremely delicious. The yard was very nicely decorated. Hotel for all generations.

Very comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. We swam in the lake on both days and walked round the lake which was very beautiful.

Brilliant place to stay for a small family, easy access to places near by, plenty parking space and everything available needed for a comfortable stay.

I stayed at the Hyperion during a last minute trip to Salzburg. The hotel is beautiful and the staff amazingly attentive. It is in a brilliant location- across the road from Mirabell palace and gardens and approximately a 10 minute stroll through the gardens and over the footbridge to reach the old town. Red roses,champagne,duvet folded in shape of heart with rose petals arranged around it...unexpected for our wedding anniversary. View from our window was of river, castle, and old town. Perfect room in everyway. All the staff were friendly and helpful in everyway. Could not fault hotel in anyway. Best hotel we have ever stayed in on our travels over the years

Ulrike, who manages Front of House, was absolutely superb. She provided one of the best welcomes I have enjoyed in a hotel for a long time.

A lovely old building (1429!) stacked with history. Great location and the staff were all really friendly and happy to share their knowledge about the town. Would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel with a warm atmosphere. You can really feel that this is a hotel run by a family who are passionate in what they do. The room was very clean, it’s in a great location and the staff went above and beyond to help us. In fact, we have found all Austrians to be incredibly hospitable. I would highly recommend. We love this hotel for many reasons: location is perfect, the warmth and kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the size of the rooms and bathroom, wonderful extra touches, fantastic restaurant. It is the embodiment of old world, elegant charm.

Fabulous family run hotel. We had a great 3 night break there in a lovely setting. Quiet but close to Salzburg for the airport.

The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. My stay included breakfast, which was available between 7am - 10am. It meant that I didn't have to get up too early for it. The spa and pool were great, very clean and also had amenities such as snacks, water and hot drinks. They were both open for very long hours so i was able to use them after I returned to the hotel after my day outs. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it's in middle of Bad Aussee, just the spa and pool is worth...

Newly renovated hotel and very close to train station!

A second visit to the Blaue Gans - our 'go to' hotel when in Salzburg. A direct bus line from the airport drops you right outside the door - and your then based within an easy walk of all the main attractions in the old town. Fantastic staff throughout, with an extremely helpful reception team to help you get the most from your visit. Comfortable rooms, beautiful, simple, and with great design.
