"beach front hotel, literally the dining room is 3 meters fromthe beach. Lots of restaurants and ahops nearby and 5 minute walk from the Abrao pier. The swimming pool was closed due to renovations. Breakfast was good, wirh delicious tapioca pancakes made to order, fresh fruit and lots of cakes. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. "

"Perhaps the best hotel at Ilha Grande. Located away from Abrao. 5 min by hotel boat taxi, cost 20 BRL (4 USD) during the day hours and 40 BRL (8 USD) when it is dark, i.e. after 6pm. "Campsite has a very chill and relaxing atmosphere. Probably the cleanest campsite we have ever visited. Facilities are great and everything in the kitchen works fine. Staff is very helpful and speak okay English. We were allowed to store our luggage from checkout until our boat left in the evening. The tours that the hostel recommend is a bit expensive though."
