The Jubilee Hotel West- with Spa Facilities

"This is my second time here. My first time was exceptional. Very much made us welcome. Clean tidy and felt amazing that booked to come again. This time was sadly disappointing. Stayed in exactly the same room as last time but very disappointed. The room wasn’t up to the standard i expected from previously. Needed topping up with toilet roll. No Matching towels. 3 different types this time and colours. It felt messy and very lacking. No handwash. An altogether untidy room. I think poor quality in room generally. The staff however, very helpful and very entertaining. I advised them of this and expect better next time. I was given apologies and will come back again. Next time expecting what the high standard was from my first visit."

"Staff were very helpful & accommodating. Eg. Reception staff, bar staff, waitresses etc. Parking & early check in was no problems. Food was hot & plenty of variety both breakfast & excellent restaurant menu. Excellent location & good facilities. Room was clean, well equipped & comfortable. 10/10 for everything & would be my first choice when I next visit weymouth."

"Beautiful hotel with stunning views across to Corfe castle. Sadly we only stayed the one night as a stopover as my son had a tank crew experience up the road in Bovington, but I would have happily spent the week here. We had two single rooms, both of which were immaculate with comfy beds and plenty of space. The bathroom was spotless and well equipped We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening as we took a walk to the local pub, but we did have breakfast which was delicious with lots of different things to choose from and top quality produce. There's a bus stop directly outside with fairly regular buses which run between Swanage and Poole, so getting around without a car is easy. I really wish we'd had longer here as it's such a beautiful area and if visiting this part of Dorset again, I won't hesitate in staying here"

"Easily accessible location with lots of parking. Hotel spacious and checking in was quick and easy. Rooms very comfortable with all the usual facilities. Restaurant food was very good and plenty of selection for breakfast."

"I was attending a course in the leisure centre next door. The Aqua was an excellent, relaxed place to stay. The staff/owners were polite, friendly and generated a relaxed atmosphere. The small, well stocked bar carried on this relaxing, informal atmosphere. (The squeaky bar stools could do with fixing but were still amusing) The food is top notch and very affordable. The cooked breakfast (Included) is amazing and you can select as little or as much as you want. Lovely coffee as well. Cereal and toast is also available and I enjoyed the relaxed serve yourself arrangement. Helga, was on hand to make sure you had everything you needed and was very friendly and approachable. You can take a walk to the highest point in Portland (490 feet above sea level) to take in breathtaking views and sunsets. (A bus is also available as it's quite a walk!) My room was clean and tidy and all I need in a stay. A comfortable bed and shower. TV reception was very poor, giving only a handful of channels, but this didn't really affect me as I don't go to places to sit in hotel rooms watching TV. The Aqua is a great place to relax and enjoy great food and drink. I liked the informal, laid-back atmosphere as this added to the relaxation. This, plus the attentive, friendly staff, made my stay very enjoyable. I would certainly stay at The Aqua again. "
