Rooms were comfortable, with thoughtful touches. Excellent table service breakfast, pre-ordered the night before. Dinner the night before nice if maybe a little overpriced. "The only thing that stopped us from giving 5 stars was the service in the restaurant for dinner. We had to ask on more than one occasion for our bread and wine, we had to wait 40 mins for our coffee. The waiters and waitresses were very nice but were overwhelmed by the number of diners. When we checked out the service charge had already been removed from our bill."

"Absolutely one of the best hotel experiences Ive had in a long time. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. My room was small but very well appointed. Again, spotless, the shower gave lovely hot water at a good pressure. The bed was amazing, so comfortable, i slept like a log. Breakfast was a nice cooked buffet with the usual options. All nicely cooked and super fresh. The best value for money Ive spent in ages."

Would definitely recommend as a base for travelling around the area visiting the any gardens, castles etc. Will definitely return again."

"Room quite comfortable, sofa: was aching after sit for a longer period, could be improved. Breakfast not as good as hoped - informed reception on arrival am vegan. Some 'vegan' sausages were available, didn't like this brand, no soya 'milk' after first night, didn't bother to get any for other two breakfasts, so no cereals."
