We visit the area quite regularly from Carmarthenshire, so that we can purchase lobster, mussels and spider crab (the Welsh Lobster Company) and fantastic fresh fish, scallops and cockles (the Fish Plaice), both on Milford Haven Fish Docks, about a 25 minute drive from the Little Retreat. "I came in on the late ferry arriving just before midnight, expecting a room key left on the desk; nope, a sweet lady greeted me & carried my suitcase up to my room. Didn’t expect that so late in a small hotel in a small village. Room had everything I needed. They were fine with me leaving my suitcase for a while in the morning while I went for a walk. Very convenient to both the ferry & train station."

"The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good."
