"Management at breakfast left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, no one was there to greet us. The only staff member was engaged in a heated conversation with another guest. There was no milk for the cereal. No spoons either! Coffee pot had run out. Family sized kettle was supplying a dining room of about 20 people. Bread was in short supply. Basically under staffed. One staff member taking orders, serving food and clearing tables."

"Only stayed for one night as in the area for business purposes. Had an evening meal in the bar area and the food was excellent. Room was clean and nicely decorated with all amenities provided. Staff were professional and courteous. The breakfast was superb in the morning although I did not have much appetite early on I wouldnt have gone hungry if I had been ready for food. Lovely natural yoghurt with fruit compote and honey and although I didnt actually eat the bacon barm at breakfast I took it...

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. I called in advance to request an early check in as I was attending a wedding nearby. Room was ready for me when I arrived. Room was clean, plenty tea/coffee & milk, bed was comfy. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again. Thank you."
