"One of our best stays in Iceland. Super clean and comfortable property! Eidrum (the owner) Made our stay just perfect! Steyndor (her son) was the cherry on the pie! Both were so courteous and kind! The property is located just off Hofn and has a perfect, open setting for watching Auroras (if you’re lucky!). I highly (highly!) recommend this property for your stay in Southeast Iceland."

"We were greeted by the friendly owner. Having a kitchenette and living area was a welcome sight. Our first night (different hotel) was a very small room so the extra space was a welcome relief. The room was very clean and the views were stunning. There is a small deck with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. GPS had difficulty finding this but luckily we found a very helpful person to send us back in the correct direction. It is right on the ring road so it shouldn't have been a problem."

"It’s such a beautiful house! We had a wonderful stay. One of the great advantages of the house is there are 3 bathrooms to give 8 of us convenient access for our comfort. "

"We would highly recommend staying here. Our host was friendly, courteous and made us feel very welcome. Our room was exactly as described and was clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site that we dined at for dinner. The food was delicious and well priced. There is a lounge area where you can use if you want to be out of your room. Free parking is available at the front of the hotel. "

"Very cute, as pictured. Clean and comfortable beds. A nice fan in the loft. There's 3 cabins in a row so you have to close the shades for privacy but all the windows have black out shades. Was extremely windy while we were there, not sure if that is common there. The house stayed cozy even with the extreme winds, power and internet worked fine. "

"The property is as described, bigger than we expected and came equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the friendly and helpful host who showed us in. One disappointment was the mention of an on-site restaurant in the communication message where we could dine and therefore we opted not to bring groceries for doing our own cooking, but was told when arrived everything was closed, leaving us with no food on New Year's Day.
