Incredible experience thanks to fantastic hosts and a wonderful property. The Chalet was exactly what we were hoping for from a stay in Blue Mountains which was a little off the beaten path but still with good train access to Katoomba etc. The owners are incredibly accommodating and welcoming, making for a very personal experience. Other than the hospitality, a highlight has to be the visiting parrots and other wildlife in the area. Breakfast is light and perfect for what you need to start...

Amazing property, very welcoming and friendly staff. We got the lovely cabin which has its own spa and it was very comfy, with a fire in the chimney as we got it. Very calm and peaceful. The location in the countryside is far but worth the trip. There is tennis and pool table on site. We even got to feed the alpacas!

Place was full of character with complimentary food, John kindly let us leave our luggage there while we went hiking after checkout and before our train back to Sydney. Room was spotless with fresh flowers when we arrived.

Blackheath is the best place to stay when visiting the Blue Mountains. It's less of a resort than Katoomba, and closer to more of the best trails. The motor lodge is my favourite place to stay. Comfortable, super friendly, and reasonably priced.

Excellent location. Good motel. Park in front of room. Table and chairs outside for a beer. Goid size room. Good bathroom. Toaster, kettle, tea, coffee, fridge. Good bed.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Very spacial apartment/room and nice homely feel. Undercover, secure parking was a big bonus.

Everything went well. Reception staff were helpful and approachable.

Staff were wonderful, very happy with big smiles and keeping the hotel spotless. Beds were super comfortable, breakfast was continental style but was filling and a great start to the day.

All we needed for overnight accommodation in good condition. Very easy check in / check out. Location is excellent for proximity to sights. Car an advantage to get into town centre, it’s quite hilly! Cafes within easy walking distance for breakfast. Good supper choices in town centre. Quiet and peaceful, staff very helpful and friendly. Very happy to stay again.

Great basecamp for blue mountain hikes, loved the history and feel of this place. All staff really nice

We had a room in the main motel block. Very basic but it had all that we needed including a fridge, a fan, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. The room itself was a bit tired, the curtains didn’t quite close, the sliding door to the bathroom didn’t quite cover the doorway. These little quirks didn’t detract from our enjoyment: The bed was comfortable, shower was good, towels were changed daily. We stayed for 4 nights immediately on arrival on our first visit to...

Superbly peaceful place to stay. Lovely staff, comfortable bed and great facilities. Sadly the restaurant was closed so I couldn’t sample, but the menu looks fantastic and the room itself is great.
