The boat itself was impeccably clean and furnished with new, modern appliances and furnishings. There's an excellent kitchen for those who want to cook, and the boat's rooftop 'terrace' is a great place to relax. The provided water and welcome drinks in the fridge were a great touch. Communication before and during the stay was excellent, and written directions...

"Uncomplicated contact. We got the entrance Code online with a description how to find our Appartement Key. Everything went well. Appartement very large with all amenities but a bit dark. Very quiet and Centrally located, brilliant choice. Unfortunately pur predecessors left completely rotten food with fish in the oven. That gave an horroble sight and smell."

"I was disappointed overall with the El Rancho apartments. The apartment was very small, the kitchen was tiny and very poorly equipped to cook for yourself. There were broken sockets in the apartment and it is in need of a refresh. "Beautiful hotel in the heart of an old town. However, don't expect to get any sleep! Located a few meters away from a noisy bar with drunks and fighting until the 4 am closing - sleep is impossible. Hotel owner needs to invest in modern windows that reduce noise levels and curtains that allow for blackout of bright street lights. Wonderful decore inside the hotel but if you can't get a good night sleep - why stay? Hotel owner would be wise to focus upon tips for guests to get an excellent...

"Despite being just 2 people, we stayed in one of the large boats--two bedrooms, two bathrooms--and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The boat itself was impeccably clean and furnished with new, modern appliances and furnishings. There's an excellent kitchen for those who want to cook, and the boat's rooftop 'terrace' is a great place to relax. The provided water and welcome drinks in the fridge were a great touch. Communication before and during the stay was excellent, and written directions provided on everything (from parking to entry to departure and everything in between...) were clear and helpful. The Hausboat people also arranged a morning tour of Gibraltar for us, which was, again, extremely well organized and a lot of fun. "
