"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon from June 12-15. This was a very cute place. Very clean, and the staff was very friendly. Only minor complaint was the faucet to the bathroom sink was short, and it was a challenge washing your hands. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay, and we will book The Schooner Inn on our next trip to Virginia Beach. "

"There were 2 types of bugs and the property was so dirty. The bathroom needed to be cleaned again. The staff was great and beds comfy. And breakfast was not really breakfast. I was scared to even touch anything."

"All rooms are on the ground level, so you can park at your door. Office area is decorated in colonial decor and staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are a bit dated, but the entire facility is kept very clean. They also have an outdoor pool that includes a chair for handicap accessibility. Outdoor furniture is in this area from lounge chairs to table and chairs with umbrella to rockers. Breakfast is served, but a bit scarce, and the dining area is small for the number of guest rooms."

"Upon arrival we were informed that the Elevator was out of service. Problem my brother a disabled veteran with knee replacements needed an Elevator! Disappointing 😞 I request compensation as the manager wasn't available upon checkout 😕 REPLY NEEDED "

"The air conditioning was working whem we entered and the floors were still wet from a recent mopping. I'd recommend you dry the floors after mopping as i almost slipped and fell from the water on the floor. Also, throw out the blankets that have cigarette burns in them. Very trashy looking. They're cheap blankets, so easy to replce. "
