"We didn't pick this place ourselves, as our original booking cancelled two weeks before our trip, so Expedia picked this one for us. The place was very clean and neat, owner was very friendly and helpful. Only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't use the washer and dryer as it was additional fees that weren't mentioned in the posting, and the dryer wasn't working right anyway they said in the house rules. "This newly and beautifully restored farm byre made a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding countryside and castles. A very spacious and comfortable living space, tastefully decorated, with a superbly equipped kitchen. This was our favourite accommodation in our tour of Scotland. "
