"Very comfortable bed and a great shower."

"The staff were very friendly, and made us feel at home! The room was cozy and the view was beautiful, though the road outside was rather noisy, but it dies down after dark. I was hooked on the Cotswold Stout while we were there, and the town absolutely won our hearts! Highly recommended The Bear if you're around Marlborough!"

"A lovely friendly hotel to stay at with great food, staff and surroundings I will be back"

"A very pleasant suite for a single older person with easy access to all facilities. Perfect for a short stay. I especially liked the bedside table with inclusive sockets for device charging. A smaller kettle to get access to tap would be good though necessity is the mother of invention. Bed was comfortable and suitable for a tall person. Excellent modern shower unit."

"Easy parking. Lovely staff. The room was really clean and comfortable. Check-in and out was very easy. Only thing we were unsure about is opening times for the restaurant were but other than that a really lovely stay and would come again."

"Free parking and comfy bed"

"All was cleaned and tide the only thing was someone dirt pots and pans in the sink need to be washed up and a pans on the cooker with food still stans in it been though onto the cooker The rest wash fantastic and clean Mr ks Allcorn Room 13 Thank you "

"Excellent and good value with everything we needed for a short stay. "

"Very welcoming and very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay 😁"

"Good location and staff are very helpful. But we only found out rooms are literally above the pub and a bit outdated. Name of the hotel also misleading and we thought it was by the water"

"Building site, semi naked men drinking and lighting bonfires in the car park, litter everywhere! After waiting nearly 2hrs in 30° heat to get in our room, we booked elsewhere"

"Great location just off the high street but nice and quiet Free parking Nice comfy bed Good shower "
