"I booked this back in September, they cancelled by email less than 48 hours before we were due to go, absolutely disgraceful, with no explanation or anything. We had to then try to find somewhere to accommodate 8 people in less than two days over an Easter break. I would advise against booking this.."

"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "I booked this location for my two adult daughters and my toddler grandson. I am sorry to say that the shower wasn't working the glass shower screen was broken off its hinge and fell on top of my 7 month pregnant daughter and grandson. The Hot water bath tap came out so slowly a shallow bath took an hour to run. The throws in the living room stunk of dogs. There were cobwebs, dead and dying wasps in the main bedroom. However the most disappointing aspect is that Idyllic Retreats host...
