"Very reasonable price but we struggled to find horizontal surfaces on which to place phones, wallets and glasses. A couple of small shelves here and there would be greatly appreciated. Likewise, in the absence of wardrobes, options to hang clothes were limited; a few coat hooks on the walls would be a great improvement and take the pressure off the rack on the door. "Large bedroom and recently modernised en-suite. All clean and tidy. Nice and warm (4 day stay in January). Breakfasts were excellent and the food available for the evening meals in the pub part of the hotel was also good. All of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The car park is big. Breakfast does not start until 7.30am. You order it from the menu the night before and it was always ready for 7.30 for me, but I was there on business it left me quite tight for getting to my meeting...
