"We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus. The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk. We would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again. "

Harrogate is one of the nicest towns in this area, definitely a high-end location, with really good restaurants and shops, plus it's close to Knaresborough (well worth a visit with the viaduct spanning the river gorge and the historic streets and pubs) and everything else North Yorkshire has to offer.
