“Pirfect hotel in a good place”

You should try cappuccino at the hotel's lobby cafe.

“Good downtown location for xi'an”

Decent hotel - nothing amazing but also nothing bad either. Hard beds, to be expected, shower was fine. Wasn't the most modern place but again no serious complaints. Cord internet in the room worked fine. Location is great, right near south entrance of walls and short walk to center of town (clock tower). That's a primary reason to stay here.

Area recommendations
Downtown (inside city walls) as it's easier to get around.

“skytel xi'an”

Desk staff was helpful with several questions and very friendly. Room walls were thin, but AC unit dampened sounds from outside. Overall, a good spot!

“4 starts hotel in Xian...”

I must say that it was not what I expected for a 4 starts hotel in terms of infrastructure, very old and stain carpet, hard beds - something common in Asia - and furniture that screamed "repair me" among other things, BUT the service was good and the location was superb! 5 minutes walk to the Bell tower and the Melody hotel which is the place where busses from the airport drop the passengers, and 10 minutes walk to local markets.

“nice hotel with friendly staff”

nice hotel with friendly staff. Very good and cheap dinner / large breakfast buffet

“Safe bet”

The hotel was good...nothing extragavent, but clean and comfortable. Very well located, close to all major attractions and railway station is just 10 minutes away by taxi. Terra cotta warriors are a 45 minute drive. I would stay here again as thier rooms are reasonably priced.

“very clean, no working AC”

The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful with information on directions and surrounding sights. The rooms were very clean and spacious. However, the AC did not work. I was switched to another room the second night with the promise of a working AC. This AC did not work either. I would recommend this hotel in the winter or fall when it is not as warm out. I spent a very sweaty 2 nights here.

“nice hotel”

location was very good , walking distance to most places. very helpful staff . the only thing was the air condition .the last 2 days during my stay at xian the weather was getting hot and was told by the staff that it was not hot enough for the air condition to be on. being in the room with one small window was not a pleasant experience. if i ever come back to xian i would stay at the same hotel and pick a cold weather.

Area recommendations
most of the places was walking distance. will not recommond taking taxi , they are very adventurous drivers whose driving skill was scary. walking to the bell tower and taking bus 609 with only 1 yun will get you to the the museum.
Dining
when orderinf food , make sure that you tell sever that you do not want your food hot. we had experienc eaten food too hot which is normal for local people.

“Good quality hotel”

Rooms were clean and hotel was in an excellent location. breakfast was cheap and good and catered for western style as well. I would stay here again. The restaurant served one of the best meals of our trip.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was great. The cusine was nothing like you get outside of China and the service was equally great.

“Not impressed”

Hotel seems under new management bore little relationship to previous review. Bar was pathetic, rooms small and lacking cleanliness. Breakfast buffet was barely adequate but cheap. Good location
