"A spacious ,well appointed, comfortable boat. It is situated in a really good location , right next to the Slimbridge Wetlands, and easy distance to the Costwolds . As a new letting there were a few teething problems which the friendly owners quickly rectified and made us very welcome. Due to our age we found the distance from the road a bit difficult , but it shouldn’t bother younger folk. With a good pub and cafe at start of tow path, eating out was no problem. "My son and I enjoyed this hotel a lot. Apex Hotel was the best of the four hotels we stayed in. The room had everything we needed with the exception of a microwave. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided the usual but also included the "full English breakfast". The dinner menu included sticky toffee pudding and it was delicious. I would give the hotel 4 stars."
