"The beach was beautiful but the property had the balcony acccess blocked due to repairs. We were not informed before our stay. Due to sanding, dust was thick outside our door and the whole hallway. Plus the ocean view from the condo was from the side, not direct view. Southern Vacation rentals were aware. They charged us again after we had paid in full to Hotel.com"

The condo is at the end of the peninsula, right across the street from Peg Leg Petes. Its located on the 4th floor and had a little balcony to sit at facing the beach. "I really liked it here and plan to return. The staff was all wonderful. The breakfast was really good every day. I picked it because it allowed pets, and there was very good proximity to the dog beaches. The only thing I didn’t like was the color seemed to be coming off the floor onto our feet. If we walked barefoot at all the bottoms of our feet just got brown. The room was very clean so I don’t think it was a dirty floor, just color from the vinyl flooring. Also no fan in the bathroom, so it got very close and muggy. Those are my only complaints. The pool area was so nice, as well as the fire pit area. I have already recommended the hotel to a friend. "
