Close to city centre.

Posted 12-Apr-2015
. Didn't get told what time check out was. . Main doors closed early so couldn't get out, Had to go out side via car park. Didn't get told doors would close not good if there was a fire. . Fairly small room for what you pay for, get bigger rooms in cheaper hotels. . Expensive parking . TV didn't work properly, Hardly any channels

Lovely hotel on the whole

Hotel was lovely. Staff were very helpful. However, the bed in the room was very uncomfortable, it was hard and squeasked at the slightest movement.

Central hotel by train station

Bit off putting when cleaner trys to gain access to room at 7.55 in morning when ur asleep. Other than that all ok. Costa Coffee in reception was pricey and would be nice to have free wifi in all areas.

Pros: The staff and how easy they make my stay and the work I delivered in the Brigante Suite
Cons: The temperature in the Brigante suite is either too hot or too cold - would prefer to have an in-room temperature control please
Very helpful concierge - Ronnie Alexander and helpful Nicola in hospitality/banqueting

Lovely Hotel for an overnight stay

Posted 10-Mar-2015
Pros: The rooms and the staff were both great.
Cons: The entrance looks a bit cold and uninviting.
Location: It was Leeds Hilton and the location was very close to the railway station and all the shops and bars, etc. were within walking distance.
Booked this Hotel for myself and my daughter for her 21st Birthday and I have to say the beds were really comfortable in the room and very clean. The staff were brilliant, they brought up a special dessert with Happy 21st written in chocolate on the plate, which my daughter loved. The entrance to the Hotel was a bit disappointing but overall our stay was lovely and I couldn't fault the staff or the rooms. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Hilton staff.

Nice hotel very close to the centre

Posted 01-Mar-2015
The hotel is ideally placed for the city centre and the train station. The staff were very pleasant and the room comfy and clean. We didn't have any complaints about the hotel and would recommend it although we didn't have breakfast so we cannot comment on the food. The price of the breakfast is expensive given you can go into town close by and get breakfast for far less. One word of warning about the car park - it is not for the faint hearted or cautious drivers ! Tight is an understatement, particularly the turn for the exit so beware!
