I'd definitely stay again

Staff on reception pleasant and helpful, the double suite was large, double bed, sofa bed, chair, massive tv, free bottle of wine and fruit, modern bathroom, with walk in shower and a separate bath, on the 11th floor so no outside noise..upgrade to a suite..treat yourself Two minutes from the train station, but you wouldn't have known it. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay.

Good Hotel, kind staff, Brilliant position

Posted 30-Jun-2014
Pros: The most important thing: the kindness of the staff, helpful and supportive. and smiling!
Cons: Upgrade of bathroom would do... but ok...
Location: The Hotel is walking distance from anywhere you want to go in Leeds, and easy to reach and drive away from.
Enjoyed my short stay, staff was kind and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is within walking distance of, well, everything. Specifically, I was in town for a concert at the First Direct Arena, 15 min. walk. Access to the gym is a big plus for me and this was easy and free of charge. Rate was excellent. Cons? Car park is very narrow and well, expensive.. London prices. Bathroom could do with a bit of revamp. But clean and working. I would definitely reccomend

Close to every thing

Posted 05-Jun-2014
Pros: The helpfulness of the staff and the nearness to shops, restaurants and the canal and river.
Cons: Possibly the entrance as the reception is on the third floor.
Location: The location for me was the highlight as I was on public transport and the station was so close yet I could enjoy every other facility.
I loved the fact I could leave the hotel and walk along the Leeds to Liverpool canal. The experience was great.

Nice hotel in city centre

Posted 20-Apr-2014
Pros: Bed & pillows
Cons: breakfast and cleaning of rooms
Location: The hotel has a central location so you can reach anything easily from here...
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for business and pleasure. The beds are really comfortable with feather pillows and blankets, though the room is small. The swimming pool is good sized. I found the breakfast relatively poor quality for the price (the eggs and bacon were very dry, definitely not worth the money even if it is expensed). There is a Costa coffee near the lobby - the rest of the days we just got coffee and croissants from there. It is a shame the third day the swimming pool wasn't open due to an incident because it was the main reason for us to choose this hotel over a cheaper one. I would have expected at least to be offered a discount for that. The cleaners also could have done a better job but the bottomline is the room is one of the most comfortable ones to sleep in and it was a pleasant stay.Leeds is great city as well.

Terrible bed!

Posted 13-Apr-2014
Beds obviously haven't been replaced in some time . We spent the whole night rolling into each other and the edges were as hard as a plank of wood. Certainly won't be staying at a Hilton again if this is indicative of the chain. In addition, they messed up check in and didn't ask us how our stay was when we checked out. Very disappointed as it was a rare night away from the kids but we still didn't get any sleep!

Good city centre location

Posted 13-Apr-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The swimming pool, part of a health club felt neglected, could have done with a good clean, the jacuzzi flowed into the pool causing strong currents
Location: Short walk to the royal armouries and city museum great for all ages and free. Pedestrian area makes browsing the many shopping arcades a pleasure.
Very close to the station the hotel is easy to find and close to all parts of the city centre. Walking distance to all the museums and excellent shopping!
