"Good hotel, rooms a bit small and in need of a freshen up, but not to bad. Could have done with a fridge in the Duluxe A/C room that we stayed in. Great food, no upset stomach all the time we were there ( 10 Nights ) Close to the beach, around a two minute walk away, nice pool, always sun beds available to use.Staff were helpful and good fun, they made our stay at the Akhil Beach really nice. "The reception staff was very friendly. However the room was a disappointment. There was not toilet paper, the sheets were dirty and stained. I had to use a towel on the bottom sheet and slept in my clothes. I booked for two nights and stayed one night and checked out. The location was nice very close to the beach and local restaurants. I would not recommend staying here. "

"The Thiruvambadi is a great hotel. It’s in a convenient spot at the very end of the cliff ‘strip’ so, if you turn left out of the hotel, you’ve can walk along the clifftop past lots of shops and an endless choice of restaurants. "Stay - Extra comfy bed in King room with huge bathroom and central courtyard. Loved the theme and cleanliness. Breakfast was huge and enough!! Beach is just 2 minutes but you can't hear much of the waves. Dinner was delecious and plentiful. Thank you Manjulal for the care. "For starters when I booked it said air conditioned room/ when I arrived it was not so wasn't impressed with hotels.com The place is nice, helpful staff and nice grounds man. The cottage is cute and a good size. It's a little challenge finding this place but it's well signed which is helpful. To get to the cliffs go through either bamboo village or the ally way next to it- along here is some cool shops and restaurants"
