"After a bit of a shaky check in with regard to a room we didn’t like, the staff resolved the issue and we we were given a room that was satisfactory. Rooms are large and well appointed with an excellent sized bathroom with a very large countertop. There was a Juliette style balcony which allowed for fresh air. "Beautiful hotel and room. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the river. Room was very quiet. Long Boardwalk beside the river with stores and restaurants. Across the road from the train station. If you're driving, be sure to take the 3rd avenue bridge over the train tracks. Short drive north of the city takes you to Belcarra park which has some beautiful trails."

"The hotel is older and it shows, but the room was bright and large and had a sweet little balcony in the sun that had a far off view of the city. The Bar & Grill restaurant on the premises had the nerve to charge me $11 for a Virgin Caesar! When I asked them how much they would charge for one with vodka in it, they said ‘the same’!!!! I was totally ripped off. Good thing they have a view because the restaurant lacks all semblance of any ambience or efforts to make it look presentable. "
