We stayed there at the beginning and end of our Rocky Mountaineer rail trip. All of the personnel were helpful and very professional. When we asked for coffee for the room, they brought us a K-Cup machine and loads of cups. People remembered our names throughout both of our stays 10 days apart.
Concierge service was knowledgeable and quite helpful.
Can't say enough great things about the Four Seasons.
Very, very comfortable beds and a beautiful room. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The only negative thing is that I think Wi-Fi should be included without a fee. Even with that, I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel!
I was very pleased with the hotel. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, right up to my late check-out. The restaurant Diva has a great "happy hour" from 3:00 - 6:00pm. All-in-all had a wonderful experience in this hotel and would certainly stay there again on my next trip to Vancouver.
Stayed two nights before catching a cruise out of Canada Place. The facilities are excellent. We had a couples massage and it was great. Staff fall all over themselves to help. Great location down town near stores and food. We ate next door at The Keg and it was great. The wife and I liked it so much we may go back just to stay at hotel and vacation in Vancouver.
Located in the heart of downtown Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver is an easy walk to dynamic Robson St Shopping beginning with …More
We were warmly welcomed on arrival and were able to drop off our Avis rental car very easily as very close by.
The hotel has a stately elegance of a past era. The bar and restaurant area is excellent and complimentary continental breakfast is included in the tariff .
Our room air conditioning did not work very well which was the only disappointment in the hotel which generally exceeded expectations. Thoughtful touches such as welcome gift of chocolates , a kettle in the room , water each evening and very friendly and helpful staff made this hotel special.
Most if not all rooms have a balcony and there is a private terrace with loungers and chairs . Ideal for relaxation.
Friendly and professional staff. Convenient location. Walking distance to harbor and many restaurants. Very limited space when hide abed folded out. Felt claustrophobic when trying to tuck my daughter in.
The hotel was perfectly situated to enable us to walk to Stanley Park 15 minutes easy strolling in one direction and Canada Place 10 minutes the other. Robson street was just on the next corner which had a nice range of shops. The hop-on hop-off bus conveniently stopped opposite the hotel for initially exploring the many areas of the city and offer a free shuttle service to the Capillano suspension bridge and grouse mountain which were both good fun trips.
The hotel facilities were very good and we used the gym, swimming pool, guest laundry and hotel shop frequently. The convenience of having an apartment meant we could self cater using the grocery store next door. We had a balcony which enabled us to enjoy the sunshine and city views and the apartment was well serviced daily.
Nice area for sitting out at the front of the hotel as sometimes the lobby was crowded with people wanting to get wifi free of charge. Staff were helpful and polite and helped arrange tours to Whistler and Vancouver Island, which were both great trips and a highlight of the stay.
Overall a great stay in Vancouver in a perfect spot.
Downtown Vancouver sits on a peninsula bordered by Burrard Inlet, English Bay, and False Creek. Attractions include GM Place, home of the Vancouver Canucks hockey team; BC Place football stadium, home of the BC Lions football team; and Canada Place, the city's waterfront convention center and cruise-ship terminal. Visitors also enjoy browsing eclectic shops on Gastown’s cobble-stone streets.
