I always like the idea of staying at a villa and was great to learn that we had the one and only pool villa. We loved the pool and the room itself is fantastic! It is a 4.5 stars resort so don't expect 5 star treatment... the food wasn't fantastic but what a great nasi goreng you make at the restaurant! Overall we were pretty happy and met some amazing staff.
Had the most amazing four nights here, wish it could have been more. The grounds are just beautiful, the villa was lovely and spacious with a little private pool perfect for cooling off. We had some amazing and delicious meals for lunch, particularly dinner were the chef came and told us about what Balinese specialties we should try. All the staff were so kind and helpful, the butler service was a great touch too, he helped us plan some great day trips. All in all just a fantastic experience, definitely want to return.
Classy with a strong flavour of Bali, it's a sanctuary in the heart of Ubud. Most comfortable bed I've slept on for years. Great breakfast included and delightful attentive staff. The pool is excellent
For every person that stays there are 10 staffers watching you. We felt uncomfortable by the way they treated us. It was an overly nice "we are watching you" way, which was strange since we are well dressed, respectable American businessmen. They don't seem to understand the American culture at all - we don't want to be followed and we don't want to sit in a restaurant with 4 staffers staring at us waiting for us to order something. What was particularly annoying is everywhere you go in the resort they ask you your room number - you probably get asked 12-15 times a day, no lie. Anyone else who stays here will understand exactly what I am saying. It's all just too much. Relax, you have a gated community and plenty of security people, you don't need to harass your guests and make them feel like they something isn't right.

My friend and I stayed at the safari park and lodge for one night. We had an incredible time. The staff were very friendly and I was very impressed to be greeted by a personalised itinerary when we checked in. This really helped us to make the most of our time there. It was amazing to be chauffeured to dinner by an elephant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bali and would definitely go again!
this small 25 villa hotel in a beautiful jungle setting is a huge draw to honeymoon couples and couples wanting to get away. each villa has a beautiful plunge pool. there is also a hotel infinity pool. the Cascades restaurant serves all meals but has 2 menus, a casual menu and a more formal one for dinner. the staff is warm and friendly.
