"The property was very close to all the attractions. About a 10 minute walk to the Center of town. The manager spoke English very well and the breakfast was good. Nice little welcome drink and snacks on arrival and stocked mini bar at no charge."

"Thank you for a wonderful and pleasant stay at Villa Il Barone. The location is convenient and private parking is available within the BnB. Breakfast was prepared and delivered to our room every day. The homemade pastries were delicious! The beach and city center are within 5min driving distance from the BnB. Villa Il Barone will be our first choice if we plan to return to Tropea. My only recommendation is to provide an iron in the room or to borrow for a short period. "

"We very much enjoyed our one week stay. Breakfast was great with lovely cappuccino and croissants and a selection of fruit and meats. Staff was lovely and approachable. The hotel was very easy to find. Perfect location in town and very close to the beach stairs. Would definitely recommend a stay. :)"

Fairly Close to old town and not too far from beach. Website says balcony but there wasnt one. Website also said shuttle bus to train station but ...??"

"Great location right in the centre so expect some noise. However a lovely, modern styled room (rare to find in Italy as many are outdated). Couple of areas for improvement would be: 1. Breakfast - packet croissants and only 3 yoghurts for two people staying 3 nights. Appreciate they have to leave breakfast in your room but packet breakfast for three days a little poor. Great lady who runs a supermarket next door who sells fresh fruit thankfully. 2. Bizarre lights that stay on in your room at...
