“Clean hotel, but Full Parking lot, very loud at night”
The arrival was a little rough as we didn't know where to park, ended up at a Loblaws underground parking lot, finally found the hotel only to be told that the hotel lot was full. We parked at a lot next to the hotel but there was no main entrance to the hotel and we had to take all our bags and walk a block around with everything in hand to get back to the main entrance. There was no service offered to help us with our bags or even a trolly offered, which was a little disappointing. The room was very clean and nice. Bath supplies were provided, there was also a fridge but would have been nice if there was a complimentary bottle of water atleast. It seems that it was a party hotel as all night there were people screaming and banging on doors. I woke up 3 times in the middle of the night (last time at 5am) to people yelling outside in the halls. So summary, CLEAN NICE ROOM. SERVICE NOT GREAT and VERY LOUD AT NIGHT.
“Great Hotel for the Price. Good Location”
Good location and price. Hotel was clean and the hotel staff were very accommodating and pleasant
“GREAT HOTEL”
The hotel staff was the most friendly and helpful Ive seen in a long time. My only complaint was the rooms were so small you had to walk sideways between the bed and table. But very neat and clean.
“Squeezed for space”
Such a convenient location, but needs a revamp. The lobby looks and feels like a chilly subway station. The adjacent bar is very cold, so that patrons keep their coats on. It doesn't encourage lingering. The rooms are tiny but adequate. Parking is an adventure: the hotel's parking lot was full, so we were directed to the lot next to it. Very steep entrance, no elevator, no apparent security, dangerous for pedestrians, difficult to locate the pay station. We met other hotel patrons wandering around lost in it. The way out is via a steep staircase at the back, which tips you out onto a stone ledge between two buildings--quite a step to get down, and dangerously dark. Creepy feel: I won't go back there again.
“Toronto Weekend”
Hotel was picked based on pricing and the fact it was a Holiday Inn. Rooms small but clean and modern,Beds very comfortable. parking lot was full , but neigboring lots extremely close. We were in town for a wedding reception and were able to take advantage of the city cabs to get back and forth to the venue at reasonable rates. If we come back to thearae again would not hesitate to stay overnight at this location.
“good location”
Parking is a big problem. Check in, check out and elevator lines are long.
“Tiny but elegant”
The room was very small but the hotel was quite nice. The wifi was a problem. Parkng from the rear street was fine once we knew. Service was good
“Good Value for Money”
Hotel good value for money. Good location. Lots of eateries nearby in College Square district. Only problem was the noisy construction next door. Also, the heat was too high - good that you can open the windows! I would stay there again.
“Great atmosphere!”
The hotel is very stylishly designed, new decor, boutique feel and the rooms was ultra modern & top notch and very comfortable. A great place to stay when doing business or pleasure in that part of the city. Close to the core and great shopping! The room was very clean and well supplied. Only flaw was a leaky sink that someone had taken the drain stopper out and had left the ball leaver nut unthreaded at the back of the drain...an obvious theft that could easily be missed by the staff. Good thing I knew enough to thread the ball leaver arm back in. All was Great!. Will definitly be back!
“Would Visit Again!”
Fantastic decor and ambiance! Friendly, courteous Front Desk Staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. Great location.
