“Simple but effective”
I got a rather large room, for rather small cost. The hotel is clean - not fancy but worth the price. Fantastic location close to Metro.
“great choice for tourists in Tokyo”
very convenient hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful to an english speaker. I would recommend highly since close to the subway and lots of choices for restaurants and convenience foods (7/11 and Family Mart) are minutes away. Breakfast was substantial with lots of choice. Recommend highly.
“Great central location, rooms barely average”
The b roppongi is no luxury hotel. The location can't be beat for night life. I was in Tokyo to see a show at Tokyo Midtown & go dancing at salsa clubs and they were all within minutes walk! So, convenience is very high for nightlife. The hotel itself, however dressed up in its ads and pictures, is pretty mediocre. I was at the ANA International for a few nights too & that was much nicer for similar price and only a few blocks walk down. The "b" has wireless in lobby, only wired internet in the modestly appointed rooms. The bed was comfortable. Small desk and TV. There is a machine in the hallway to buy a "TV card" - must be credit for some programming? Anyway, the bathroom is just so-so with supplied large bottles (for continued use) of soap, shampoo, but no lotion, very small thin towels. No robes, one PJ supplied. There was a very foul smell coming from the toilet when flushed - something like the water supply was different for that. Not pleasant. Very small room safe that was not even big enough for my tiny netbook. Room was generally clean. The included breakfast was mediocre & the breakfast room only has stools. For the average traveler, it is great for location and adequate for lodging, but the "b" is by no means a luxury or even upper level hotel. Staff was pretty good for helping with directions, etc.
“Clean, convenient hotel when travelling light.”
Positive is that the hotel is clean, relatively quiet (given its location) and is conveniently located near to Roppongi metro station exit 5. The rooms are not large but are adequate and the beds are comfortable. A reasonably good Western/Japanese breakfast buffet is included in the price. On the downside, if you have a lot of luggage you may find the rooms too small. Also, exit 5 has no lift or escalator so you have to drag your stuff to and from the Roppongi Hills entrance/exit. Also the hotel doesn't seem to have a separate room to deposit your luggage so if you arrive early or check out and want to leave the luggage at the hotel to explore Tokyo, the bags will have to sit in the main corridor with just netting over them for protection. If you have teenagers in tow and are getting fed up with Japanese food try the Outback steak restaurant about 1 minute walk from the hotel.
“Great Hotel”
Lovely hotel inn the heart of Roppongi. Free espresso coffee and broadband. Rooms not huge but good for the price
“Bugger than expected”
The room and the breakfasts, which were included in our room charges, were both considerably bigger than we expected. If I have any negatives about the room it would be that it was a little "tired" but it was thoroughly cleaned every day. Breakfast choices were generous and varied. All the staff were friendly and some became unofficial guides working out travel alternatives to interesting spots. My feelings about the area are a little more mixed. The hotel is very close to two subway lines so transport is easy but it is an inner city night tourist destination replete with ouer-priced restaurants and immigrant touts soliciting for the night-trade.
“Great location in Roppongi”
Typically small hotel room that you will get in Japan unles you pay just stupiud $. Very clean room and hotel in general. Can't complain about anything. IN particular at the very reasonable price.
“Good location, great breakfast and excellent mattress”
I will stay this hotel again in my next visit in Tokyo. Good locations, great breakfast, excellent mattress. My room is just next to elevator and facing main street. But I don't really hear the noise. Please be sure you request no smoking room when do the reservation if you hate the smell. My friend forgot to do that. But they still helped her to change to another room. However, it is based on the availability. The mattress is really great. I love it. The location is not at the best session of Roppongi but still good. Though there are many "clubs" near-by, after all it's Tokyo, I didn't feel dangerous or threaten when I'm myself. For your information, there is only stair way at the closest metro exit to hotel. If you have heavy luggage, it's a hard work for this part.
“Will definitely use this one again!”
The best kept secret in Roppongi. Affordable, clean, quality hotel in the middle of Roppongi, Tokyo - cant ask for more. Will definitely use it again.

Area:
Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan: If Tokyo had a Las Vegas, it would be located here. Birthplace of the citys 1960s disco scene, this area fostered its reputation as the place to party with the more recent inclusion of restaurants, nightclubs, and other forms of entertainment, such as cabarets and hostess clubs. It is also the place to rub shoulders with Western musicians and celebrities.
