"Excellent choice for a "one of a kind" experience"
The Hotel has its real story and the story that connects it to the Eagles. Which ever version you pick it will work for you. An easy and interesting bus ride from Cabo San Lucas on Aguila Bus Lines the depot is one block up and one block over to the Hotel California. They are expanding the restaurant and it is lovely. Good food by day and the new Bistro at night is excellent. The chef pays personal attention to detail and taste. Good wines to pair with as well. We stayed in the room with one king bed and a a balcony looking south towards the ocean. The rooms have been kept to original as much as possible. The extensive and beautiful walled gardens and dipping pool make you wonder where you are once within. The character of Todos Santos is bought alive and memories of more rural Mexico years ago bought back. We planned and enjoyed the one night stay for the sake of doing it. Staff gracious and helpful. Loved the location and the character. Worth a visit. We met a family who had travelled all the way from Germany to stay at the Hotel California. Loved the original history of the Chinese owner, his wife, and the seven sisters.
Hotel Casa Tota was a welcome splurge after a few days of teeny little hotels here and there in baja. The cement look of everything is really cool, the pool area is lovely, and the bar/restaurant deck is lovely to sit on. The rooms are nice and simple, but really lovely to look at. Right in the middle of this tiny town near all the galleries, restaurants etc.
The Todos Santos Inn is a magical escape. The trickling fountains, glowing lanterns, palapas-covered veranda with the lazy ceiling fans and comfortable beds draped with mosquito netting evoke a bygone era and create a hushed yet fervent sense of romance. The staff is very welcoming. The innkeeper we ran into most often (Mark) was delightful and never tired of our requests for recommendations. The bartender (Jorge?), the chef (Patrick?), and the wait staff also added to the warm, convivial atmosphere.
The hotel’s bar (La Copa) and restaurant (La Copa Cucina) are inviting spaces with great drinks and great food. We loved the sushi, the fish tacos, and the 50/50 sliders. Tucked away in the garden courtyard is a small, heated swimming pool and patio with comfortable chaise lounge chairs. It’s an idyllic place to laze away an afternoon.
The hotel is located on a somewhat busy street in the historic center of town, so guests will hear the rumbling of passing cars and trucks with the occasional blast of mariachi music blaring from the radio, but the town quiets down by 10 p.m. The hotel’s close proximity to restaurants and art galleries makes the street noise an easy trade-off.
We've had a wonderful three day stay at hotel Guaycura in November 2014. Although Baja was hit pretty hard by the hurricane Odile end of September this year, everything seemed to be undisturbed here. The rooms are well appointed, the complimentary breakfast is served in a wonderful courtyard, and the roof top pool has a view to the ocean and the village. The staff is very attentive, and looks happy to be there! As a guest of the hotel, you can enjoy special price ($10/person/day) at their exclusive beach club, only few minutes away driving from Todos Santos. We would definitely go back there!

Located in the center of Todos Santos and encircled by historical buildings and ancient roads, the Guaycura Boutique Hotel & …More
A truly sensational place, amazing views of the ocean and an estuary full of of birds, large living area with full kitchen, nice bathroom/shower and extra bedroom. Everything done in beautiful tile and stone work. Each level with a huge deck.
Lots of steps as each accommodation occupies a full floor and the hotel is built on a very steep hill. Beautiful pool with deck and palapa and barbecue. Path to the estuary and then onto a beautiful beach.
Less than 10 minutes from the main road in town, although a challenge to find the first time in (don't try it in the dark).
Todo Santos is a lovely destination, our favorite by far in Baja
I had neglected to confirm my reservation, but our hostess was gracious and accommodating. We loved our spacious, air conditioned room. Decorated and appointed in Mexican quaint, the room had a kitchenette; we were supplied with fresh drinking water for our stay. Everyone was friendly to us including the neighbors, the staff, and the local restaurateurs.
