Great location

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: All inclusive was superb. Rooms great and staff tremendous.
Cons: Abolish the long trousers in the dining room rule...it is totally unnecessary.
Location: Shops, bars and takeaways nearby. Beach 5 minutes walk and Sian Park is 10 minutes walk although it is uphill. Well worth a visit, loads of fun!
Fantastic staff and great location. Beds are comfy but on wheels. They slide around laminate floor. Food mediocre but great choice. Entertainment needs revamp. Long trousers in dining room for men is an old fashioned idea and in totally unnecessary as it is a family hotel. Good all round hotel with an extremely welcoming team. Great all inclusive options available until 12:30am which is fabulous.

Great position

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: Position, staff, pool bar, all inclusive is great.
Cons: Withdraw the long trouser in the dining room rule....it is far too hot!! Could do with a revamp.a courtesy bus to jj'
Location: Fabulous location. Ideal for costa ADEJE and playa de las Americas. Sian park is ten minute Walk away. 5 mins from beach and supermarkets 2 mins
It was our fourth time staying at Las Dalias. Room 314 was a fabulous room but the two beds were camp beds and every time you turned over in the night or sat on the bed it rolled on the laminate floor!! The long trouser rule for men in the dining room at dinner is over the top. It is far to hot in Tenerife to insist on this stupid rule. The hotel is a bottom of the scale 4star in my opinion and full length trousers are not always on people's agenda while on holiday. The staff are exceptionally wonderful. Cannot say any more other than nothing is too much trouble. The entertainment could do either a makeover. It was the same last year and the year previous. The pool bar is great and the all inclusive is a must. Few flies/crawlies on food but it was soon sorted. All new was put out. The hotel is tired in most areas however, the staff make up for that. Going again in December. Looking forward!! On a rating of 1-10 considering everything, I would score 7.5.

Didn't even get to stay in the hotel

Posted 14-Jul-2014
On arrival was informed there was a problem and people had to stay so there were no rooms, looking at reviews this has happened to other people and they just don't have the rooms although booked along time ago, they put you in their sister company. We was put in the Bougainville and it was really nice, many people advised it was better the las Dalias.

Nice hotel with good facilities, terrible beds!

Really nice hotel, in a brilliant location close to the beach. The beds are pretty solid, and even though staff said they would swap the mattresses for us they never actually did

Excellent location, polite staff

Pros: Nothing to fault it, amazing views were a bonus
Location: Beaches near by, as well as the port where we went on an excursion. Water parks within walking distance, across the road from a mall/restaurant
I really enjoyed my stay here. Walking distance from everywhere I wanted to go and the staff we're extremely polite. The only thing I would say is that me and my family got stared at because we we're the only black people at the hotel. It was really annoying but no fault of the hotel. It became funny after a while... Breakfast was amazing, diner was good.

Great hotel, great resort

Family of four, two teenagers - two adjoining rooms with interconnecting doors excellent idea. Greta food, plenty of choice. Only half an hour free wi-fi in main lobby. Had a great holiday, would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel , excellent service, great location

Posted 26-Apr-2014
Initially we were given a road facing room which was noisy and gloomy but once we upgraded to a sea view, it was totally a different experience. The room had a great view with balcony, very clean and light. The only downside no iron, kettle or mini bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was great with a lot if variety, lots of sunbeds, clean pools and fantastic entertainments in the evening. There is a shopping centre across the road with a supermarket called mercdona which has everything you need very cheap so works out cheaper to buy everything you need there than to book a suitcase to check in. 5 minutes walk to the sea and 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely go back.

All round great hotel choice

Posted 12-Apr-2014
We have only ever done self catering before as we felt half board would be a 'risk', however, after spending lots of time reading reviews we opted for half board at Las Dalias and we are happy to say it was a great choice. The facilities were excellent with 3 pools, a decent gym and even a squash court. The location was perfect, with a shopping complex next door. The staff were a genuine, friendly and professional team. We could not fault any of them in any way. The entertainment team were very energetic and put on great shows. When trying to encourage sunbathers to do any of the many daytime activities on offer they were never too pushy. The food was varied, plentiful and very good. The rooms were spotless and had terrestrial English TV if you fancy a night in. Many people we spoke to had been there many times and everyone agreed they would go back, us included. Great value for money. We will definitely be going back there for some winter sun next year. If you opt for Las Dalias you will not be disappointed!!!

Good hotel in a reasonably good place.....

Posted 08-Apr-2014
We enjoyed the stay here & having stayed at Iberostar before we knew that the standards would be good. The cleanliness was superb & commendable. The food was very good, the staff excellent.......unfortunately the beds & bedding as usual let the stay down. All in all a good hotel however & great for a short break in the sun.
