Great Hotel

Posted 25-Mar-2015
Pros: Clean: staff well trained, hardworking and friendly: food was well above average: comfortable public areas
Cons: The "Entertainment" was dreadful. As usual the singers were pretending to play the instruments. The acts were generally of poor quality.
Location: Location was fine for us. Beach was about five minutes walk away, but up a hill. Once on the prom. you could walk to las Americas.
Definitely the best All Inclusive hotel we have been to. Room was cleaned every day to high standard. Staff were extremely friendly and hard working. Food overall was also the best we have seen anywhere: the beginning of the week was outstanding but I felt that towards the end the quality dipped a little. Choice was wide throughout. I have a query about the bacon at breakfast though. Was it real or reconstituted? Wasn't the right texture, was too evenly shaped (not naturally variable) and looked as if it had been cooked then sliced instead of the other way round. If I'm right to use the old saying they "spoiled the ship for an 'apeth of tar".

NOT A HOTEL I WOULD RETURN TO

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Pros: For older people I can see that this hotel would be in a good position as everything is on your doorstep. Supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, etc
Cons: The beds, facilities ie. additional restaurants on site, Sky TV, comfortable furniture in the room, better sound proofing.
Location: Busy. If you like busy then this hotel is fine. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets, transport, trips and lots and lots of people everywhere!
If you asked me what the staff were like, the service they provided, their friendliness, willingness to please, how good they were at their jobs, I would have to say, you can't fault them. Everybody is wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is also run very well. The staff have been trained properly, are supervised properly and the standard to which they work is first class. Then you get to the hotel itself. Well the staff can only work within the means with which they have been provided. The hotel is basic, needs some modernisation and upgrading. The beds are sooooo uncomfortable even my back was breaking every morning and I have a good back and am a strong Sports Therapist. The staff even changed our mattress to a 'better one', sadly not. The hotel is not in the best position. It is very noisy from traffic with a motorway running one side of it and Los Eugienio roads running the other. A few overlook the pool but that is noisy from the restaurant and people at the pool bar and entertainment area. On a plus note, the food is excellent, good quality, quite repetitive as All Inclusive's usually are when they don't have other restaurants on site to eat in, but food is constantly replenished and offers a good variety. This comes down to the excellent staff again of course doing their jobs well!

Best food ever.

Posted 01-Mar-2015
Cons: Dedicated outside non-smoking areas.
We asked for a high floor room to be told that our booking (Expedia) would only allow us a 1st floor room overlooking the road, however the room we were given was immaculately clean with a large bed. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good, both in quality & variety, added too by good service. Our only complaint was; wherever you walked outside you could not avoid cigarette smoke, as non-smokers we found this offensive.

Nice Hotel

Posted 29-Jan-2015
Pros: Its in a convenient location for everything
Cons: Provide rooms to cater for Room only customers with a kettle and have at least 1 English speaking TV channel, offer the safe and WiFi at check in
Location: Its about a ten minute walk to the beach, there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and many shops.
We stayed on a Room Only basis as we like going out to eat and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

Relaxing short break

Posted 19-Jan-2015
Pros: The hotel location, food, drinks and quality of staff.
Cons: Really good, nothing to add.
Location: Great, centrally located. Local bars and clubs were also good after the evening entertainment had finished in the hotel.
Lovely Hotel in a great central location. Facilities were excellent, with all inclusive meaning just that. The staff were totally committed to making our stay and that of our friends really memorable. The hotel was spotlessly clean, tidy and maintained to the highest standard. Our room, although a little small, was overlooking the pool area and was comfy with a nice firm bed. The satellite TV also included English channels. We needed extra pillows after our first night and on request to reception they appeared within minutes. The buffet style restaurant was equally well run, with many food choices and very attentive waiters, who attended to any requests in a most friendly and professional manner. The daily activities, both for children and adults were hosted by some of the most helpful and sometimes most patient of staff. They were both courteous and knowledgeable in many ways, we had a go at darts, archery, rifle shooting, pool and table tennis, my wife had never held a gun before but the young man in charge was so understanding and assisted throughout. Evening activities including live entertainment was first class, and the acts could easily be put on the larger stage, again attended by the very busy waiters who took care of every request for drinks from the impressively stocked bar. Overall, a great break and one we are about to book again for later this year.
