“Simple + clean accommodationf. Will be better when the building site next door is comple”

Our experience was very much inline with other reviews here. This is clean and tidy, unassuming accommodation in a very convenient location. At the moment (June 2011) there is a new housing block being built next door, so the view is none too pretty and there is some noise during working hours, otherwise this would be 4 stars. Some specific points- * Very small and unassuming frontage is quite easy to miss. * Secure underground parking is great as the area is hard to park in, but it is chargeable. * Clean and tidy rooms of a decent size. * Room has a small fridge and hob, but is not supplied with any crockery, cutlery, or cooking utensils, which makes it much less useful than it otherwise would have been. * Breakfast option is expensive, just nip out and go to a local cafe. * It is in a residential area, so no nice views (and see above regarding the building work being done next door), but the location is very convenient for the Bad Canstatt area and Stuttgart city centre (by U-Bahn). * Right next to the Cannstatter Carré shopping centre which is very handy. Local bakery and chemists are also in walking distance. * It's a short walk to stops for Stuttgart's excellent U-Bahn local train system that can get you most places in the city quickly and easily, and links to the main train station for access to regional and national rail services.

“Perfectly adequate”

Hotel is clean and the staff are quite friendly. No frills but "perfectly adequate" for a budget traveller.

“Amazing location and very clean.”

The hotel's location was wonderful. The hotel was so close to the train station and right across the street from the mall. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Amazing service. The only thing that I would have liked to have seen was for the wi-fi internet to have been a complimentary service, rather than having to pay extra for it. But, overall, I was very satisfied with my entire stay at the G-Hotel and would certainly go back and stay again. Highly recommended.

“definitely worth another stay”

The Ghotel is perfectly situated only one stop from the city centre and the facilities in the vicinity are excellent. Although a busyish part of Stuttgart, the hotel room itself was quiet. The place is spotlessly clean and the beds really comfortable. Excellent shower and modern, practical fittings throughout. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The room we had, and there seems to be several of these, had a small kitchen area with a fridge and hotplate but there was no kettle or cups. A kettle and cups would have made a big difference in a self catering hotel. We didn't have breakfast because at 12 euros per person, it's a bit on the expensive side when there are cafes all around where breakfast costs less than half. That aside, it is a great hotel and we would definitely use it again and highly recommend it.

“Economical home away from home”

This hotel served my needs for a place to stay for four days. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

“Great hotel for train spotters!”

Room was okay for two people and with the grocery stores across the street inside the mall we just stocked up with snacks and drinks. We did do lots of train travel so we were not in the room except at night to sleep and shower. Staff was very helpful and spoke English some better than others! I did see posts about staff not speaking or understanding English but everyone we talked to did? We enjoyed the breakfast which is similar to other places I have stayed in Germany. Neighborhood is older then other areas but we felt very safe and you have lots of places to eat and shop, just do it before 7 pm since the streets roll up around that time. We had rail passes and city pass so we just went into downtown or other suburbs to eat or take in sites. The pizza place at the round about has very good food and cheap prices. Train station is short walk and the Cannstatter Wassen is just short walk from hotel. Tip when going to Wassen, go to train station and walk through it for shortest route. Biggest thing I will say about this place was we were there an extra week since the volcano in Iceland delayed out departure but the staff rebooked us for the week at a very good rate so what I am saying is they did not take advantage of us like some places could have done. Only negative thing was the wi-fi was not working the time we stayed there and there is some construction going on behing the place and if you have window open can be little noisy.

L'hôtel est situé à côté d'une gare et d'une station de métro: 10 minutes du centre-ville. Les environs ne sont pas extraordinaires mais très corrects. L'hôtel est très propre et l'accueil très bon. Excellent petit déjeuner. C'est un hôtel économique idéal pour une ou deux nuits. Il se trouve entre le centre ville et la Schleyer Halle. En sortant, il faut se diriger tout de suite vers le centre en prenant ligne U2

“ghotel stoccarda - comodo allo stadio”

l'hotel è molto comodo se dovete andare a vedere una partita al mercedes benz arena: ci si arriva tranquillamente a piedi. cmq comodo anche al centro: una o due fermate con i mezzi pubblici. la camera dove mi hanno sistemata era normalissima, forse un pò calda in quanto in una specie di sottotetto.
