"The spa is fantastic, large choice of treatments. The hotel staff are very helpful, I had a problem with the TV and it was sorted out straightaway. Rooms are good size with lovely toiletries and refreshments."

"Great hotel. The staff are so friendly! My partner loves it as she uses it as a base to go out for work. They don't really cater for those who work from the hotel. There's even a sign up saying "No laptops" in the restaurant area. So Working during the day means sitting in the cafe or room. Shame not to have some quiet areas to work from. There's a reception but that's not ideal. Breakfast ran low a few times but the staff were always on it when asked. Need some tea pots as its a...

"Shopping village nearby is very convenient. Staff were very helpful. Walls are very thin, can hear people up and down the corridors and vehicles early morning, the room was very warm but bed was comfy, pool facilities were good. "

"Seven of us - two married couples and three solo individuals - stayed here while attending a function at Felsted School. We met at the hotel in the afternoon, some of us strangers to one another but others old friends; we met again at the hotel around 9pm for drinks, staying up till 1230am. In the morning, we all met again for an 0815 breakfast. The hotel helped the happy mood to keep becoming happier."

Restaurant excellent and food high standard. Breakfast disappointing, food cold on hot buffet, croissants hard, no service at all. But overall a good stay . "

"The property is very conveniently located to allow great access to all the Cambridge sights. The room was lovely and well-appointed with teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. That is the only criticism I would have. "
