"Our first trip to the area and it is beautiful. We were blessed with fine weather. The Coach House is very well presented with all mod cons and a comfortable bed. The lounge area is spacious with lovely outlook to the garden. The grounds are lovely with an array of bird life. Great pubs and restaurants nearby. Jules and Chris are very hospitable."

"We had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could need including thoughtful extras like milk, bread, tea and coffee on arrival. Property owner is lovely and easily contactable. There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!"

"Such a delightful stay -cosy, exceptionally clean cottage with everything we needed. Lovely quite location although you are unable to work anywhere due to the roads but lovely pubs in just a short drive away. The welcome hamper was gorgeous abs such a lovely surprise!"

"Chancery Cottage was the perfect place to stay in Hay on Wye for our family (2 adults and an infant). The property was clean, well-appointed, centrally located, and cozy. The designated parking spot was much appreciated and the Wi-Fi was fantastic. Everything about the cottage made our vacation as easy and relaxing as possible!"

"We are just back from a fabulous stay at this property, Kim and her husband were so welcoming and made effort to pop in that first evening to check all was okay. The house is amazing and thankfully very warm. Don’t be misled when you first get there as there are definitely 4 lovely bedrooms, but two seperate stair cases. Also don’t mistake Parker’s cottage for Parker’s, it’s right behind it and you access it by entering it up the little road right beside the red postbox. We would definitely...

"The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. "Myself, partner and 8yr old are just back from 2 nights in the cottage. We didn’t do much locally, but it was perfect for a cosy weekend in with lots of relaxation, board games and nice food. The cottage is even lovelier than the online listing with cute decor throughout and everything you would need in terms of kitchen utensils, bedding, towels etc. My daughter would like to live there! Would definitely go back at a sunnier time of year to make the most of the attractions nearby."
