"I loved my stay here. I look for slightly shabby aged hotels that offer value for money and give me a good night's sleep. I had a top floor room with a view and the room was spacious. The bath delivered hot water in spades, just the thing after walking 10 miles. I wish I had stayed longer."

"Booked this as a last minute stay too avoid a very early morning drive to a cycling event. On arrival was met by a very helpful manager who explained the parking procedure. After putting luggage in our room we went down to the bar. Again excellent service from the manager and a very friendly atmosphere. Had a great nights sleep in our room which had all the facilities we needed. Left too early to sample breakfast butt all in all we had a great experience "

"Really nicely presented hotel in a great location. 5 mins from train station and five mins from the town. Rooms on the smallish side, however the balcony helps as a place to relax. Very friendly and courteous staff so we recommend a stay if you are in the area."

"Absolutely loved our Caravan stay. This was a major highlight of our 3 week trip. We loved being so close to the beach and a short drive to St. Ives for a day of shopping and a true Cornish pasty (well half of one because the seagulls are savages!). We took our 6 month old son for his very first swim at the pool, which was a great memory. No wifi in the caravans which is a slight bummer, but apparently there is wifi at the bar so you could download movies onto and phone or iPad if you felt the need. Nice to have a kitchen to cook in, as we had done a lot of hotels up until this part of our trip. There were no towels in the unit when we arrived, but one quick call to the office and they delivered a bundle within 5 minutes. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Very good location. We can see St.Michael’s Mount from the room. Our room is jubilee suite. It is enough space for parents and one child. It’s nice to have a secured parking space."
