"We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. I went prepared with all the usual kitchen essentials but found that it was not needed. Dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, it was all there. "We chose the cottage to celebrate the New Year with a group of friends and honestly couldn’t have made a better choice. The cottage is quite spacious and so beautifully decorated (even more beautiful in real life than the pictures - it really feels like you’re in a movie!), and Andrew and David have been wonderful hosts. "The cottage is extremely cosy and perfectly located. As soon as you turn onto the farm you’re met with a gorgeous view of the barn with its thatched roof and each section gets its own lovely private outdoor dining area! I’ve stayed here a few times now and every time the place has been spotless, cosy and easy to access. The decor is tasteful and traditional with some gorgeous period features. The hosts have also been very friendly! Can’t wait to stay again!"

"We stayed here for 7 nights and if we ever return to England from NZ we would certainly stay here again. Potts Cottage has everything one requires. It is beautifully appointed and even has a washing machine/dryer. Christina was very helpful and quick to come and help when we asked about the heating for example. We highly recommend this as a great place to stay."

"Lovely property, a little disappointed as previous review had an issue with shower and this doesn’t seem to have been addressed as unable to get hot water in one of the bathroom showers. Worked fine in the bath. Problem with toilet system leaking in a 2nd bathroom. Also had power cut which of course was not owners fault. Called for help as no torch available and alarm was going off. Left two messages but never received an answer. Power came back after several hours and alarm became silent after...

"Beautiful wood framed 18th (I think)Century timber- framed cottage It is really cosy (but not small) with an interesting staircase leading up to up to the two bedrooms where the old roof- timbers are exposed . Bathroom & shower bathroom is conveniently situated near to the bedrooms on the first floor. Open fireplace downstairs & parking space off the road.. Perfect! We would love to stay again soon."

"The place was spacious and made an excellent base for exploring the Suffolk area whilst being really quiet. Shower wasn't great but they'd provided all the utensils you'd need for cooking and enjoying your stay. Bed had a rubber cover and there was a noisy liner under the bed sheet which made it very warm but it was comfortable. Decor and furnishings are fairly budget but it's good value and ultimately a nice space to relax and enjoy the evening after a day out exploring and walking."
