"My husband and I and another couple spent two nights at Penny Hedge. Check in at reception by Scott was friendly and quick. The rooms clean and tidy and nice fluffy towels in the bathroom. We ate there one night and the food was excellent. All the staff were very efficient, friend,y and most helpful. We had a lovely stay."

"Nice overnight stay with my partner. Room spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. A little soft for my liking but I did sleep well. Was very thankful for the fan and I’m used to sleeping with one at home. Delicious food…the steak and ale pie was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast before the long drive home. Would definitely recommend the Captain cook Inn and we would be more than happy to stay again. "

"My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our recent stay in Whitby at "The Endeavour" Pub/Hotel. The atmosphere there was excellent and all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. "Staithes is mine and my partner's favourite place in the UK. We have stayed in Staithes a few times now and I can honestly say I would recommend this cottage to anyone. The location is perfect with a bit of a sea view from the bedroom window. The cottage has a lovely cosy feel to it, beds are really comfy and has everything you need for a short/ long stay.
