"The only reason I chose 4 stars instead of 5 for the location is that there is a bar located right outside some of the bedroom windows which made those room(s) a little loud. With a sound machine playing on our phones, it was not a major issue. However, it is something to consider if you have small children. They would just have to be on the other side of the house. "Excellent stay in this great country house surrounded by citrus trees. The house has two large bedrooms, a comfortable bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen / dining area. Views from the large terrace on Mt Etna and on the sea from the front side are priceless. A car is indispensable. Easy to reach by country roads not far from Messina / Catania autostrada. "The property is typically Sicilian so if you’re expecting contemporary and luxury this is not for you, if you want to feel like you’re in Sicily and experiencing their culture this is fabulous.
