"A comfortable modern complex for golfing enthusiasts. Also nice surrounding areas for a spot of fishing in the Ruhr river. A spacious apartment with fantastic waterfall walk in shower. the Wi-Fi never worked with my modern phone or my mates I pad this was a nuisance and inconvenience. As this complex is situated in a rural location it's advisable to drive or hire a car as the local station at Froendenberg only has a limited service every hour to Dortmund and no late service from Dortmund."

"A short walk from Essen train station, the hotel is reasonable for the price. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, with good heating and air-conditioning unit, a kettle with tea and coffee, a complimentary bottle of water. My room overlooked the car park at the back of the hotel so it was nice and peaceful, facing away from the busy road. The room wasn't spotless, but it was clean enough.
