The room was large and beautifully decorated, the bed was huge and comfortable. We were in the very top of the hotel in room 12 with the low door to enter and we loved it. We also had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and couldn’t fault it. We were up and out early the next day but had time for a quick cooked breakfast to set us up for the day. "One night's stay at the Partridge for a wedding taking place nearby. Room was very spacious - and the bathroom even more so! Very comfortable bed. We asked to check out late the next day and was initially given an extra hour, but then weren't able to accommodate - so staff offered us free coffee in the dining area whilst we waited, which was a lovely gesture. We had dinner and breakfast here, which was excellent and portion sizes were generous."

It would have been nice to have had the heating on when we arrived but appreciate that we’d recently had a change in weather. Bar has wide selection of drinks and food is excellent. "One night stay along with our 15yr old son. All 3 of us stayed in the same room which was very spacious, set out lovely and very clean. We were impressed with the decor and fealt comfortable right from first entering. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but nothing to worry about at all. The management and staff couldn’t be more helpful during our stay right from checking in to having a bite to eat and a few drinks in the bar.
