Hôtel à l'accueil somptueux dans quartier calme.

Posted 28-Apr-2015
Cons: La literie : matelas trop ferme et oreillers moyens, une couette aurait été la bienvenue. Bruit de climatisation venant d'une autre chambre;

Location: Quartier pavillonnaire rien à visiter ici.

Nice hotel some distance from Rome

Posted 19-Apr-2015
Hotel is nice and most staff very helpful and nice. The free bus which is needed to get into centre of Rome (hotel is some distance away up a very steep hill) is mostly full at key times in both the morning and evening or for one day was in for repair. You have to book/ reserve a place on the mini bus which only holds 6 people and they only go once an hour. The hotel don't help other than to tell you the bus is full. Therefore you are stuck and we had to resort to taxis to get back to our hotel each day and after dinner. This costs around 10€ a trip.

Hotel gradevole ed accogliente

Posted 16-Apr-2015

Great Staff in a nicely appointed hotel.

Posted 31-Mar-2015
Pros: The staff are great, breakfast was included, wifi in the rooms was free.
Cons: No complaints from me.
Location: Its rome :)
My first trip to Rome was made all the more pleasant by the staff and accommodation of The Duke Hotel, its tucked away in a residential area, but the hotel offers a rapid transfer to the edge of the inner city where you can explore the sights of Rome on foot. Of note Luigi one of the drivers and the other staff make you feel most welcomed from the minute you step into the hotel and the plush surrounds of the entry area and rooms are well kept. I spent 7 nights here for business and some relaxation and while there may be hotels closer to the action this hotel offers decent pricing for the location and the friendliness of the staff more than compensates its location that is really only 10 minutes from hotels costing alot more.

Wonderful Hotel

Posted 05-Dec-2014
Pros: The staff was wonderful.
Location: The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood close to wonderful restaurants and grocery stores.
Our stay at the Duke Hotel was wonderful! Everything from the staff to the rooms to the food....fabulous! The shuttle was convenient and the drivers were friendly. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a store next door with everything you need. Would love to come back soon.

Rome in November

Posted 12-Nov-2014
Pros: We loved the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast, and the shuttle!
Cons: A more comfortable mattress.
Location: Quiet neighborhood, Restaurants nearby, Small store at the end of the street for water and snacks!
We really enjoyed staying at the Duke Hotel while in Rome. The staff was friendly from the moment we walked into the door, and were really helpful with showing us how to travel through the city on public transportation. The shuttle service is excellent! The bed was slightly hard, and the room was a little warm but all in all we enjoyed our stay there. The complimentary breakfast was great with the fresh juices! They even had bacon and eggs! We would definitely stay here again! The warm room is normal for Italy by the way! So it didn't come as any surprise! Oh, and it was in an excellent and QUIET area of Rome. We felt very safe, and the restaurants down the street that were recommended by the man at the desk were delicious! And in walking distance!
