"Our party of 10 were thrilled to stay in this pretty, super-clean and spacious property. We were humbly welcomed by the owner, Joao, who is a total gentleman and only wanted the best for our stay. Nothing was too much trouble to ask from him and his nephews. "The couple who run the facility are engaging and very welcoming. We were greeted with a drink of choice and conversation to get to know our hosts as well as them getting to know us. The room was just as promised with a balcony overlooking the pool. We were given great advice on visiting some of the nearby sights. The location was perfect!! I celebrated my birthday while there and the host both greeted me that morning wishing me a Happy Birthday. Fabulous stay!!!"

"This hotel is in a magnificent position overlooking a majestic cathedral and our room had a perfect view of the church. One particular member of the restaurant staff was unbelievably helpful and generous and the food was excellent. The room was comfortable but had no tissues or hair conditioner. "Fantastic characterful property in Cunqueiros. We loved the house, an amazing conversion. The villagers we met were friendly. Nuno gave us really excellent ideas about the sights and events in the area. I’m sure we’ll be back when the weather’s better to try some of the river beaches. Highly recommended."

"Petit problème à l'arrivée, car l'appartement n'était pas du tout propre mais le propriétaire nous a remboursé le montant du ménage. Ensuite nous avons eu un problème avec l'échelle de la piscine mais là aussi le propriétaire a été réactif et a pu la faire réparer assez rapidement. Dans l'ensemble bon séjour."

"The staff was very professional and kind,The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was four stars. I love the story in how the hotel became to be to support the missionarys in the seminarian bldg near by in the pass. The free parking is a plus bonus.I will go back any time."
