The Old Tram-House Apartments
3.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (131)
"A lovely property which is well situated. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately there is a lot of noise transfer from the apartment above. When I tried to contact the owner it took 4 days to get an answer, despite me using the numbers provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would definitely stay in the top apartment next time."

"Despite a rocky start, due largely to Vrbo’s handling of the information supplied by the host, we enjoyed the beautiful, well-equipped flat. The host was always available to answer questions and correct the misinformation. For future users it is worth noting that the Coop, Aldi and Iceland are all within walking distance of the flat. Balloch country park is a short drive from the property with boat and seaplane trips available. Around the beautiful local Lochs, parking is mostly free and one...

"I'm a single dad with two young boys. Our rental car blew a tire on a dangerous road a half an hour away from our stay. My international phone service wasn't connecting to the roadside assistance and we were stranded. I didn't know who else to call but our VRBO host. They took very good care of us. They got a taxi range for us and talk to my car rental company. Without their help it would have been a long long night. Very friendly. The place itself is cozy and reasonably close to the airport. "My husband and I stayed at this lovely apartment for 6 nights while visiting Scotland. Very clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, and hosts provided some basic foods for breakfast (coffee, eggs, bread and juice) . Stirling and Doune castles are a must. Not suitable for people with mobility problems, as there are quite a few stairs."

"The pod was more than we had hoped for, comfortable fully equipped nothing left to chance. In a quiet well maintained are with outdoor seating and table. Inside a comfortable bed, excellent shower (Despite my pet hate of electric showers this one actually worked with good pressure and heat ) The whole place was immaculate with a microwave, kettle, toaster and two rings for cooking, plus my wife's favourite a Teapot. Pots, pans, cutlery and sharp knives all supplied and a variety of other cooking...

"The property was in a lovely location and handy for local amenities! Very quiet and lovely to sit outside and listen to the bagpipes on a morning! The only down side was the drive down to the property and the potholes if they were filled in it would have been a much easier drive in and out. "
