“Perfect place on the beach!!”
Pearl Beach Inn is a perfect place to be if you want to be on the beach! Not only was the location great, Robert was a terrific host and manager/owner. He was always there to help you and keeep you supplied with whatever you needed! Another plus -- we found 83 shark teeth within three days!! It doesn't get much better than that! Location was great- close enough to restaurants, but the beach was very private. We'll definitely be back! Thank you, Robert!
“Nothing "resort" about this place.”
Beautiful setting, right on the beach. Very run down, leaking faucets, leaking toilets and noisy air- conditioning unit. Not very clean but served our purpose for one night for passing through.
“Great Beach Location!”
Robert was wonderful and a big help with local restaurants. The rooms were not extraordinary, but they were comfortable, clean, and had updated fixtures. The full kitchen had a full set of dishes and there are grills located on the property if you'd like to do your own cooking. If you are looking for the Ritz, this is not it, but if you are looking for a room directly on the beach in a quiet relaxed neighborhood - this is your place! The beach is awesome! As far as I could see in either direction there wasn't a soul that wasn't a guest at the hotel (there are only 12 guest rooms). Fabulous shelling and ask Robert to show you his sharks teeth... we found 9 ourselves! Great relaxing place to stay.
“Liked so much going back in 2 weeks ,with out the kids.”
You couldnt be any closer to the gulf of mexico.Robert was very helpfull with dinning, shopping and finding sharks teeth.Very relaxing private atmosphere steps from being on gulf beach thats for the most part private as its over a mile to the closest public beach. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite with kitchen it was perfect plenty of room for 5 of us.The room and linen was clean and the cupboards full of dishes that saved alot of dinning out expence.Cant wait to go back in may without kids to stay in room with deck on the beach.
“Great location”
It's all about the location. If you like to avoid the crowds and have the beach to yourself, this is the place to go!
“A slice of heaven”
OUTSTANDING! Impeccable General Manager and made our stay one of the best place we have ever traveled to; and that's saying alot. HIGHLY recommend. Very clean, relaxing, affordable with spectacular view of Gulf sunsets. The surrounding area is quaint and non-touristy. The nearby restaurants food and service is tops and absolutely delicious. Roberts recommendations for site seeing, things to do, and places to eat were all spot on and top notch. He's a wealth of information and a great guide as to what there is to do; even if it's just relaxing and finding sharks teeth and seashells on the beach which is right out your hotel room door. Everyone in the area and the other guests staying there were nice and friendly; we really didn't want to leave. Outstanding hospitality and made us feel right at home. Will definetly be back.
“Great Location and Hospitality”
We keep coming back because of the location and the hospitality of Robert, the manager. It's really time for the owners to invest in some serious updating or a makeover.
“This place is paradise....”
This little hotel is in a very secluded area of Sarasota beaches, it is extremely well kept, owner has a lot of minor details ready for you. I was there in the middle of summer and you could walk hundreds of feet and not find anybody else on the beach, as this place is surrounded by private residences. It is just amazing. My only issue was I m from Tampa and couldnt get the Rays baseball there, hopefully they add it to their satellite line up soon.
“Pearl is a paradise.”
Beautiful place. We actually live in Florida and felt like we were a million miles away from home.
“A lovely place right on the beach”
Friendly check in, spotless accommodations in a room with two balconies. Only 12 rooms in the place, ours was furthest away from the beach but we could still hear, smell and see the ocean. The room had a kitchenette with a large fridge/freezer,coffeemaker, no cooktop. So bring your own coffee and a filter, there is no place to get a cup for miles, and having a fresh cup on your balcony overlooking the ocean is fabulous. I would have enjoyed fresh towels, maid service and a hairdryer.
