"I didn’t stay at the property. I intended to make a reservation for four nights at Hotel Plaza Mayor in Madrid, but mistakenly reserved for four nights at the unrelated Hotel Plaza Mayor in Toledo. I called the hotel to fix the mistake, but they refused to refund any of my four nights’ charges, and I had to pay for that as well as four nights’ stay at a different hotel in Madrid."

"Reception was very helpful and accomodating. Parking En-Batterie right outside Hotel was free. The "Reserved for Hotel" spots ARE NOT! Breakfast was basic but fine for included. "We booked a one night stay. The room was like a sauna, no AC. I inquired and was told they had no idea when it would be fixed. The hall was cool??? No effort to move us, stated the problem was with all rooms. The entry area was cool??? We did not stay, the temperature was stuck on 31.5C°. Do not recommend this hotel, they could have notified us about the problem as we booked it several days in advance. Very unprofessional, did not offer any compensation. Never use this hotel chain again."

"The hotel is all very clean and modern. Our room was gorgeous and very well appointed. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The only thing we didn't love was the location but it's very handy for the main train station (Atocha) and the metro is easily accessible so it's not a problem. Thanks again to all the staff!"
