“Near the Restaurant”
We picked your hotel mainly due to it's location, near the airport and close by a restaurant we wanted to visit. The room was clean and bright with the 2 queen beds we needed. The room was a little small but gave us a good night's rest.
“Lower than my expectation”
Hotel for a minimalist (which I am OK with) but room was not very clean and one thing that really bothered me was that continental breakfast was scheduled to begin at 6 AM, I went downstairs at 6:15am before heading out to my meeting and there was nothing. Breakfast was not ready nor it looked like it was being prepared. I waited until 6:30 am and left. That is not professional at all.
“Microtel Inn & Suites Pittsburgh (Airport)”
For the price the hotel is a pretty good deal. If you are looking for a Hilton or equivalent then stay at one, but expect to pay much more. The hotel is in a very good location which is central between airport, downtown Pittsburgh and factory outlet stores in Washington, PA. It is located near shopping mall, variety of resturants, next to a Walmart and Target, and Starbucks in across the street. Everything you might desire within walking distance. The beds were actually very comfortable, heating/cooling unit worked well, house keeping decent, wirelss internet connection free and excellent, and breakfast decent. For the money this is a very good hotel for the flexible traveler.
“Very good deal!”
It is a very good hotel just to spend the night!
“good price”
Accommodations were adequate for price. The breakfast room didn't have enough chairs, there were about 10 seats. Food was very basic, nothing special.
“Small room but clean”
rooms are small but fairly clean , evening was quiet no noises from guests did not offer much other than decent place to sleep free internet & tv & was reasonable
“basic, but convienient”
We had a small bug on our bed, and some hair that churned my stomach. Overall, it was small but convenient. Just your basic hotel for staying one night.
“Not Impressed”
If you don't mind sleeping on sheets that have hair on them then you will have no problems. The room was the smallest I've ever been in. Of course on my stay there would have to be noisy people hanging outside the hallway, finally opened up the door at 2:00am and told them to shut up. Only good thing was the location.
“Uncomfort Inn”
Walls and ceilings must be made of paper. I was on the ground floor near the front desk. I could not sleep due to the noise from the front desk and the people above me who must have been having a dance competition ... they literally rattled the light fixtures walking around. The continental breakfast was very bleak, to say the least. I did enjoy the free newspaper ... it was free, wasn't it?
“The absolute worst hotel experience of my life!”
This hotel guaranteed that our two non smoking rooms would be available to us for late arrival. We were utterly dismayed to find they'd given our rooms to someone else and all that was available were two smoking rooms. I have asthma and a smoking room is not an option. The staff took no responsibility for the situation, told us that there was nothing else available, showed us to our smoking rooms and thought that the deal was done. When we got to the rooms we found that one room was dirty and the other had beds that had been redressed with the same sheets from the last occupants. When we asked the owner what had happened to our booking he replied that he understood our issue, but what could he do if there were requests for non smoking rooms and that he had no way of knowing how our rooms had been overlooked. No apologies, no regret in his tone, simply a "whatever"attitude. Many others at the hotel were displeased with their service as well. Also, don't bother with the free breakfast, there wasn't much and it wasn't fresh. The breakfast area wasn't clean either and the whole foyer smelled like stale smoke. All in all a terrible experience and I've stayed in some "hole in the wall" establishments. This made those seem like luxury suites!
