“Very Clean”

Hotel room was very clean and seemed fairly new.....remodeled. The breakfast was not as good as I thought, but it was ok overall.

Area recommendations

Tempe, Scottsdale and Mesa....they are good looking neighborhoods.

“Clean & good location”

Hotel is clean and staff was helpfull. Outdoor pool and hot tub area was well maintained. Took advantage of the putting green area. Loved the outdoor covered patio where I had breakfast and watched the beautiful sunrise. The location is good with easy access to major roads, highways and Airport. The only negative is that our room was small.

Visit downtown Scottsdale for a variety of dining and shopping.

“Will stay there again”

“Temp/Hampton”

First class hotel with all the amenties you can ask for. I always try to stay at a Hampton Inn because I know what to expect and this place was no different.

“Not So Much”

Older Hampton Inn, wasn't impressed with the quality of the rooms for the price. We had a dog that was left in the room next to us that began to bark non-stop when we were trying to sleep. Hotel staff had to relocate us in the middle of the night due to the barking dog. Breakfast was horrible, selection was poor.

“Comfortable”

Would stay there again! But would get a suite-room was small. Grreat for family's with poot and tennis court. They also except small dogs which was a plus for us.

“Hampton Tempe”

This is an above average hotel, a bit dated but they have a putting green that is really fun. Perfect hotel for a guys trip!

Area recommendations

Tempe/Scottsdale is a great area, they have health clubs, plenty of resturants and bars and has a pretty safe feel too.

Nightlife

Go down the road on Scottsdale Ave and find R n R, get the Chicken Lollie pops and the spicy Chipotle Margarita.

“would love to return”

A very pleasant hotel compound with 2 pools, a hot tub, and a small putting green; there were even tennis courts available behind the hotel. There was ample well lit parking and the out door spaces were well lit a night for safety. it was a quiet stay and of course the usual breakfast of the Hampton Inn chain was available. We had a suites room and it was most pleasant having a room to sit in with kitchenette plus a bedroom. I would return tomorrow if I had the time.

Must see

Papagno Park which houses both a world class Zoo and an excellent Botanical Gardens. Each one is several hours of walking, learning, and fascination. Entry fees are pretty standard for each but well worth the money and time. Take water with you.
