“Budget & spartan but convenient on market street”
This place works for me, a single traveler, because its on a market street which makes is fun and quiet, no traffic, at night (street side the booths set up ca 6:30-7am which might wake some folk). There's a bakery, fruit store, etc., mid-range restaurants and a corner pub with jazz bands on the weekend. Stayed here twice, this late Fall 2011 they were renovating which was smelly and dirty. But that'll be good for the next customers. Small rooms with boat sized bathrooms are sufficient, the decor is smart spartan. The front desk person(s) has been helpful. The wireless is a little slow but reliable. Of course, the cost makes it all worthwhile.

Will stay here again. I have been in more expensive hotels in Paris that were not as clean or well located. Small, no frills, but more than decent bath and shower. The helpful and nice staff (not exactly the forte of Parisian hotels) are a bonus. The neighborhood is as Parisian as it can get, with marchés, boulangeries, fromageries, patisseries, all those ies that make the city of light what it is. A bit on the upscale sight, I must add.
“Adequate room, great location”
This is not a luxury hotel so don't get your hopes up. The double bed is a bit small but comfortable. The shower is small and does not have a soap holder. They don't have extra covers and you have to fight for extra pillows. No movie channels in English, only CNN if you do not speak French. They do serve breakfast for a price but...there are great salon de the (bakeries with tables) up the street for a really delicious breadfast. It is very close to all the major transportation lines, buses, a metro and the fast RER. Very charming street in a ritzy part of Paris. The staff had some very helpful people and do speak English but then again, some were rude. Don't expect service with a smile in France like the Midwest US.
“Great location, nice hotel”
Nice clean bedroom and bathroom. Hotel looks as if it has been recently restored. Only negative were hard beds. Fantastic location. Rue d´Annonciation is packed with delicious grocers, bakeries/cafés and fromageries.Relatively tourist-free area. Short walk to Eiffel tower and the Seigne. I am definately going to use this hotel again during my next Paris-getaway.
“We love this place!”
We found this place two years ago and were excited to return to it. It's located on a one-block, pedestrian-only street, half a block from a fashionable shopping area, and a short walk from both La Muette and Passy Metro stations. During the day, the block is full of street vendors with fresh produce, meats, baked goods, etc. There is a nice cafe at one end of the block and a mini-mall with grocery store at the other. It is a typical European hotel--rooms are very small, not lush, but clean--and if you're spending more time exploring Paris than sitting in your room, it's a great bargain.

Contrairement à ce que nous avions pu lire, accueil fort sympathique et souriant . Parfait pour un séjour affaires/loisirs, au calme d'une rue piétonne. Quartier très commerçant et Métro et Bus à proximité. Rapport qualité/prix bien étudié pour un séjour au centre de Paris. Nous y retournerons !
