“would stay here again”

Very nice and very clean room. Small room also, but that's Paris. Good breakfast. Free fast WIFI.

“lovely”

lovely little hotel. beds comfortable. shower/toilet on the small side. staff very friendly and helpful. nice neighbourhood with plenty of cafes and restaurants. easy acess to gare de nord and central Paris from abbesses metro. Would stay here again.

“Location of the hotel is excellent, 5 mins walk from Montmarte Basilica”

Location: It's a Very good location, if you are planning to enjoy a peaceful and bohemian part of Paris, lots of small souvenir shops, restaurants and pastry shops.... You'll love it!!! Hotel: Small hotel with helpful staff, my room seemed a bit tiny to be honestly, but that is my personal opinion, besides it's 3* hotel after all...

“Great location and friendly atmosphere”

Hotel des Artes is located about 3 minutes from the Moulin Rouge, in an area full of bistros and cafes. It's near a Metro station and opposite a trendy movie house. Rooms are comfortable and warm. Breakfast in continental style and the hotel does not have a bar or dining room, just the breakfast room. It's very popular so don't expect to get into the room early if you arrive before the published check in time. It's boutique and quaint, very clean and conveniently located.

Area recommendations

I would always stay in Montmartre - it's such a fun area but very safe and full of interesting places to visit.

“Tiny room and expensive but great location”

Location, location, location. The area is full of restaurant and bars, very picturesque and good metro links. Obviously a little noisy but that's also part of the attraction. The hotel is very pleasant with decent, if not amazing breakfast. A quirky and tiny lift or wonky spiral stairs takes you to a very small room. And even smaller bathroom. You definitely don't get much square footage for the money! No air condition, few sockets, no work table, clock, tea/coffee maker or iron means it's not a place to spend much time other than sleeping!! But this is typical of hotels in Paris and particularly of hotels in this area. So, all in all this is one of the better hotels at this price point in this area so can be recommended.

“honeymooners”

We stayed here for our honeymoon recently and found it be a beautiful little hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke good english. There was a problem with our room on arrival but this was dealt with efficiently and we were offered an upgrade free of charge. Very convenient for exploring Montmatre and good access to central Paris via nearby metro stations. Breakfast was nice and simple although the room was very small which meant you sometimes had to wait for seats. Will definately stay here again

Moulin Rouge, a fantastic show well worth the somewhat pricey tickets.
