Budget hotel

Posted 30-Jul-2014
Pros: Staff excellent
Cons: The lift could only take one suitcase
Location: We were only there to catch the Eurostar train.
It is a budget hotel. It is in an old building. The room was small for three people. The bathroom was very tight for a tall person.

More of a hostel than a hotel

Posted 21-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
Perfect for the Gard de Nord, pretty terrible otherwise, AC was broken, TV remote was broken, WiFi is unusable because it's so slow, you can hear everything happening in adjacent rooms, parts of the room trim had fallen off, and the bathroom door wouldn't stay closed. It was nice if I'd spent €50 on a hostel, but it was awful as expensive as it was.

Five evenings in Paris

Posted 13-Jun-2014
Pros: Nothing much but locality and commutable in all means.
Cons: NA
Location: NA
This hotel is in city center and very near to Metro Gare Du Nord and so commutable in all means, but hotel is neither OK nor Not OK, bathroom is such a small and we have taken twin bed room for 2 adults and 1 child, but this is actually a single room with 2 beds and extendable sofa. Elevator is more tiny than small.

Dust everywhere with renovations!

Posted 02-Jun-2014
Hotel renovations meant plastic sheeting was covering the window blocking any view. Very dusty with work going on and noisey. We were not told about this. Very small room. Room was in separate building. Also not mentioned.

Don't book this Hotel..!

Hotel rooms are very small, they look very spacious on websites though. Elevator in hotel is simply joke. Cleanliness is another major issue.

Very convenient location to the metro!

Posted 20-May-2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel Faubourg 216-224 was exactly what we needed: a decent room for a decent price. Since I have stayed in Paris before, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and (private) bathroom. Additionally, this hotel is conveniently located between two large metro stations for easy transport around the city.

Close to gare du nord.

You can hear people walking up and downstairs in the morning if your room is on the lower level and it can wake you up. The Lady Staff is like she doesn't care. But the room is sufficient for your stay in Paris - mini fridge works this time.
