The hotel is modern and clean with good facilities. The staff were generally excellent, especially Agata on reception who was most helpful. There is a lot of early morning noise from gardeners and children though. Also, make sure you book transfers through Expedia - do not get ripped off by taxi drivers (like we did) at the airport.

Had a four night stay at this hotel and overall was a nice experience. Hotel was clean and tidy, most of the staff were friendly and helpful (some of the night time staff were grumpy). The 'double' bed was two singles pushed together which was a little uncomfortable due to the dip in the middle! Not quite 5 star!
The Italian restaurant is across the road, the staff and food in here were both very nice. Breakfast buffet restaurant was good too, plenty of choice and nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. A good place for a short break relaxing by the pool or beach, any longer than four nights I think we would have got bored.

I was invited over the Protaras by a friend of mine from Halifax, Yorkshire, who was going over there with his wife to celebrate her 65th birthday. they were staying at the hotel next door - the Atlantico Sea Breeze - which is adult but which was fully booked.
The Crystal Springs is a perfect place for families, with a decent swimming pool and an ok beach right by, plus large gardens with lots of chairs and loungers.
It is scrupulously clean and the staff are good, attentive and warm.
The rooms are what you would expect, lovely bathroom (not large but good) with a 'rain' shower but no bath.
The food is exactly what you would expect at all inclusive buffets. Nothing to be excited about but not much to really complain about.
Al in all - a good hotel. The Sea Breeze next door is much better for atmosphere - but it's all adult.
Hotel nice out of the way need to catch a bus into protaros . If you are b&b not many places to eat near by. hotel staff lovely and good choice at breakfast. Hotel tired and needs updating. But very clean
Chose this Villa as a late year get away (October) and was not disappointed. The accommodation was of excellent standard - very stylish and high spec. The kitchen had everything you needed - new and very clean - and the outside area was great too. Staff were very helpful and friendly and they had stocked the fridge with water, wine, juice and fresh fruit on our arrival - very welcome as we had a late night arrival. They also popped round with cakes and a bottle of rose mid-week! The rooms were serviced daily, which was a really great - fresh towels (including beach), beds made and all rooms tidied. We had access to the main hotel and the beach and pool were great, although we didn't eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on that. The location is as close to the beach as you can get and the resort has loads of restaurants in walking distance, ranging from traditional to kebab, sports bars and a Mexican (!) There are also a couple of up market places that had excellent menus. I'd recommend these villa's unreservedly - great for families, very relaxing and peaceful with a lot of facilities in walking distance.
We were overall very pleased with the Artemis considering the reasonable price we paid. We were upgraded foc to a one room apartment which consisted of a small kitchenette (fridge with ice box, 2 hotplates, table top oven plus plenty of crockery and utensils/pans, a decent living area with a sofa, a balcony with small table and a couple of chairs overlooking the pool plus the bedroom with a superking size bed and a decent bathroom. Lounge had a TV but local programmes only and reception not great.
There was a small pool bar and a decent restaurant with average prices for Protaras. The staff were great and very helpful, especially Spiros who ran the bar. The pool itself was a good size and warmish, and there were plenty of good sunloungers. Free wi-fi in the lobby and bar, and we did actually pick it up on our balcony
The hotel is situated on the main road about halfway betwen Penera and Protaras so you will have a 10 minute walk either way into town. I would suggest asking for a room on the pool side of the hotel rather than the road as it is a busy and noise road up until midnight.

"Very good location but needs really urgent refurb"
Great location. 5 mins walk from beautiful Sunrise Beach and just a step away from restaurants, bars and shops.
Nice and very clean pool. Lots of sunbeds available.
Needs very very urgent re-decoration. Rooms are spacious but very look old and beds are quite uncomfortable. Some lights and sockets didn't work properly in our room. Hot water worked ok. No courtesy shampoo/shower gel provided. Only hand soap available. Air conditioning worked fine. No wi-fi available in rooms at all, neither free or paid. Hotel will charge a flat £20 fee for internet access just in reception area during the whole stay (Regardless of duration). No good.
We did'nt really require much help from staff, but they were just fine.
Breakfast was avg. Homemade Greek yogourth was available and truly recommendable: All flavours were fantastic.
All in all, I'd recommend this hotel only for a short stay (No longer than 3 days), otherwise your back can suffer the consequences. Also forget about wifi. It's affordable and very well located in Protaras town centre within walking distance from everything you could possibly need (Shops, banks, supermarkets, night clubs, pubs, restaurants and of course the beach)
The modern resort area of Paralimni-Protaras is known for golden-sand beaches, rugged cliffs, and secluded bays—as well as some of the best restaurants and nightclubs on the island. Numerous beaches have been awarded EC Blue Flag accreditation for clean waters and sound environmental practices. Nearby, the Cape Greco headland commands spectacular views out to sea.
