“A great location to explore Cefalu!”

Myself and my partner arrived at le Calette and were greeted by Paride, who gave us the warmest, friendliest welcome we could have hoped for. He was extremely welcoming and took us personally to our room which made our arrival that much more special. He seemed very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great advice on where to eat and places to visit. The hotel itself is in a great location - about 15-20 minutes walk to the old part of Cefalu. The room was clean and had everything we needed including a terrace with loungers. Our room was very close to the swimming pool which we only visited once during our stay as we preferred the beach. The hotel has its own private beach but guests should be aware that it is in fact a rocky beach - mostly pebbles & rocks. Paride informed us on our first day that we would have access to a sandy beach which is associated with their partner hotel located in the new part of Cefalu which was a relief. Cefalu is a lovely town with plenty of top quality places to eat. The main attractions are the Cathedral and La Rocca and of course the beach. The breakfast buffet is very good - good range of items. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and it was the most expensive meal of the whole trip - bad decision but we learnt from our mistake. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back again if only to meet Paride again as he was probably the best thing about the hotel! Thank you so much again!

“Would definately go back!”

My partner & i had a fantastic time at Hotel Le Calette, we did not want to leave! The hotel is very beautiful & relaxing was perfect for us. Our room was cleaned & fresh towels were left everyday. The food at the hotel restaurant was outstanding & the BBQ for lunch was great. The staff at Le Calette were very helpful & spoke very good english. We cannot wait to go back.

Dining
Most of the restaurants in the village of Cefaul are beautiful & very good value for money. Most of the restaurants that run along the same side as the beach have tables on fantastic balconies overlooking the sea & the view is spectacular! A must.

“hotel mit weiten wegen”

restaurant sehr teuer ,

das hotel liegt ziemlich ausserhalb des stadtkerns.die zimmer sind trotz erheblichen aufpreis sehr sparsam eingerichtet.2 stühle ,schreibtisch , bett ,mini tv das wars.

“Schönes Hotel mit Shuttle zum Zentrum Cefalu”

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes großes Hotel, aber die Gäste werden sehr umsorgt, Frühstück reichhaltig, Zimmer in Ordnung. Der Shuttle ins Zentrum Cefalus ist praktisch, weil Le Calette etwas außerhalb liegt. Spaziergang am Meer entlang in die Stadt ist schön und dauert 20 Minuten.

“Am Abend laut”

Intaliener sind laut, aber müssen sie den bis 5 Uhr morgens am Pool laut feiern! Nicht nur einmal es war immer eine andere Gesellschaft am feiern.

“Le Calette di Cefalù - Splendido contesto”

Ottima location, cortesia, servizi, pulizia ma soprattutto Visuali splendide! Molto valida la parte ristorante. Fuori dalla città ma distante solo 10/15 minuti a piedi dal centro e dalla spiaggia della città. Già ben dotato di spiaggetta privata.

Il centro storico è la parte viva della città.

Provato a maggio ed è ideale per il relax.
Dining
Ottima, può essere una buona idea la mezza pensione.

“Le Calette is een mooi hotel op een prima locatie (Cefalu) met een privéstrand”

Hotel is op een prachtig plekje gelegen met een fantastisch uitzicht over de baai. Cefaulu - een mooi oud stadje - ligt vlakbij en is zelfs lopend bereikbaar. Wij werden door het hotel ge-upgrade naar een junior suite met een prachtig uitzicht over de baai. Er zijn, natuurlijk, ook eenvoudige kamers met uitzicht op de tuin en zwembad. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel en een heerlijk lunchbuffet dat geserveerd wordt bij het zwembad. Luxe ligbedden met parasols op het privéstrand. Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Een aanrader!

Area recommendations
De restaurants die vanaf de straat gezien niet bijzonder lijken maar die als je er doorheen loopt aan de achterkant een terras met uitzicht op zee hebben en o.a. heerlijke verse vis serveren.

hotel proche de cefalu,superbe vue mer et port,plage privèe très bien èquipèe.petit dèjeuner buffet très correct;menus restaurant pour le soir assez restreints,prèfèrer trouver des restaurants à cefalu.

“hotel le calette cefalu'”

L'hotel offre un panorama splendido, specialmente dalle camere con vista mare. Piscina, terrazze e accesso al mare (sassoso) garantiscono soluzioni per tutti i gusti. Il personale e' cordiale. Buona la prima colazione; il ristorante e' meno entusiasmante

Area recommendations
il centro storico e' molto bello e caratteristico; va girato a piedi respirando l'atmosfera; ci sono molti ristoranti, alcuni con un ottimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo. Le Madonie offrono scorci panoramici bellissimi e un'immersione in una natura lussureggiante, specie in maggio con la fioritura
When to go
Fine Maggio/inizio Giugno e' un periodo ottimale perche' garantisce temperature suffcientemente calde per i bagni in piscina e fresche per le escursioni a piedi; la fioritura e' in pieno vigore con vegetazione spontanea coloratissima
Getting around
Per chi ama un pizzico di avventura, da segnalare l'escursione con i quad nelle valli e sui monti delle Madonie con noleggio e partenza da Castelbuono e il passaggio delle gole di Tiberio sul fiume Pollina in canotto. In entrambi i casi guide simpatiche e competenti.
Dining
Alcuni ristoranti di Cefalu' offrono qualita' notevole a prezzi piu' che ragionevoli; suggerimento particolare per "il Normanno" e "il Saraceno". Non entusiasmanti gli agriturismi (buona qualita' dei prodotti ma cucina poco curata)
